The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

It's this one, here Google street view action Hopefully it works. I don't think there's a gas station there anymore, is there? Anyway, Dean and I will be there at 11:45 for sure so you'll see us.

It's not going to be cold! 13°C!!! Today was a bit chilly, but tomorrow, sweet.

I could make 12:30 in K-W but it would be closer to 1pm by the time I got to Guelph.

No more gas station there. But there is an Esso across the street. Its dad's bday tomorrow so I will have to see whats up for the day. Maybe I can see him early morning and then make it out for the ride.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

My plan is to take the typical route through Eramosa (Jones Baseline is closed north of the lakes though), down Guelph Line, east on SR30 and SR25, but then continue east through Limehouse, Glen Williams, Terra Cotta, through the badlands and then backwards (west) through Forks, north on Mississauga Rd (not going into Belfountain) and then east to Caledon Village. That might be our first stop. I don't know how long it will take to get there... about an hour or so maybe? Perhaps any late comers could take a quicker route and try to meet us there. From there we'll head up through Mono hills (no Hockley) then up to Masfield, west to Hornings Mills into River Rd.

If you leave now there's an aromatherapy massage parlour on 7 at Shants rd. You could get all fixed up before the ride. ;)

In all seriousness, that sucks big time... Maybe you do need some acupuncture and massage to loosen things up.

Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry for my terrible time estimate on getting home... I always seem to forget how long it takes to get home from River Rd. Dean I hope you're not in the doghouse now!

Great ride guys - that was some new territory for me too... As for the doghouse - I'm the boss (she'll get over it). ;)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Really wanted to get out with you guys tonight...
Got out for a little ride mid afternoon though. Got stuck in a tournament game. Triple overtime. Blech...

Glad to hear the rest of you had a brilliant time.
