the government forgets that they are supposed to do the will of the people and the beer manufacturers forget that alcohol is a controlled substance that they are not entitled to be able to sell their swill and rip off ontario. If ontario decides to change the law on where liquor can be sold that's hardly the government taking ownership of the beer store from the multinationals.

I forgot Irocian messaged me upset that I hoped he lost his job.

So I ask GTAM the question, do you think Irocian should lose his job?

Irocian said he was walking around with a waybill from Beer store which proves that they don't make money. He is an employee (or some sort of person with an interest in Beer store) that has been intrusted by the employer (beer store) to do a job and to keep the information he comes across private. If one of my employees were walking around and showing people my invoices I would be ****** and would fire them immediately because that is my private information and it is not upto the employee to make the decision to spread it to the masses. I assume beer store being the private monopoly it is would not want any of it's information to be passed around to anyone. Would you want your accountant to pass out how much you made last year? How much you paid in taxes? How much you donated to charity?

Do you think Irocian should be fired for breach of trust and passing out information that he should not have?

No Irocian should not be fired or loose his job. He's clearly a couple sandwiches short of a picnic, but where else could he possibly work except Brewers Retail?
He's a spokesman for the Brewers group, the ideal employee, has no idea how the product is actually taken to market, profitability or transfer payments. Such a happy drone.

Correction, they will sue because they can. They believe it's none of your or governments business to tell them whether their business is making money or not. The law let's them operate the way they do. So they are ready to protect their "contract" at all costs.

Hey, If Susan Fennel can sue for 500K the taxpayers, these beer guys must be entitled to a lawsuit as well ....

They will only manage to rip-off people who actually buy the junk they sell (barring the contractually obligated sports venues) ... Why people with choice usually buy Molson, Labatt etc.? Is it the price attraction? Can't be a taste, can it?

LOL ... I meant the bottles with actual Molson or Labatt label ... not what the ownership has under their wings. These are the bottles responsible for volume, not STAROPRAMEN, PILSNER URQUELL (Iam probably the only guy who buys those ... LOL) .... these are actually great beers, but they have nothing to do with the brewer guy responsible for the Molson or Labatt label junk.

Apparently 0ne out of four beers consumed in Canada is a Coors-Molson product, thats a big hunk of market share. I can see why they would be a little sour on the Brewers retail front.

Yeah molson and labatt both use anti foaming agents when brewing and then add foaming agents when bottling. Changed the flavour and made it rot my gut.

Wowsa... That is how I felt too. I figured that my palate must have changed. I had not thought that the process and/or recipe had changed. Interesting...

Life is too short to drink crappy beer.

Corona was invented with a very short fermentation process so the production costs would be cheap and it could be sold to poor Mexicans. The resorts all put in on the taps because it was the cheapest thing for an all inclusive bar. Somebody thought it was delicious because it's light and refreshing and the legend was born. I giggle when a corona drinker scoffs at American beer mass market beers.
