Oh FFS.

I can't stand stupid crap like this. I can't stand "beer". I think it's the hops or something. IPA's have to be the grossest thing I've ever drank. I wish I liked the stuff, but my taste buds just don't like it.

Corona has always been my go to beer because it is very light and doesn't have a strong taste, but then a friend introduced me to Dos Equis this summer. I like it so much that I actually buy it and consume it in my home, which I've never done before.

I don't know why people turn beer into a dick swinging contest.

+1 My wife always laughs when I order a beer at a restaurant... says I make a funny face when I drink beer cause I absolutely hate the taste ...hence for me the least amount of liquid consumed for the greatest results works for me (brandy) ;) Going to try this Dos Equis

Just like the Tim Hortons topic. Best way not to get ****** off is to not consume their product. I Dont drink beer, dont drink coffee. If either entities were to be swallowed by earth it wouldnt mean a bit of diff to me. Id probably just notice the empty lots.

Are you talking Coors-Molson own brewed ... or are you talking Coors-Molson distributes/bottles 25% of all beer sold in Canada? Big difference ....

Dont be sour, you dont like beer , yet you buy Dos Equis? sorry its beer. You dont have to like IPA , and the current styles of IPA are not really true to the form.

Some history, when the Brits ran India the the usual dark British beers did very poorly in the cargo hold of a boat in the heat for 3 months, so India pale ale was the export product of choice, recent recipes Hop the heck out of it, hoppier the better right now.

I'll drink corona all day long (and have) , Dos Equis makes three or four styles, the amber is in my fridge right now. Its not a dick swinging contest , its education.
You missed the part where I find corona drinkers making fun of Busch or Old milwaukee drinkers comical, its the same process just packaged different.

Sorry then. The way you came across was like the usual "beer drinker". I read what you wrote as putting Corona down because it was cheap stuff peddled to the common tourist.

And yes, I don't like "beer". I believe I can say that and still say I like dos Equis, because I've tried lots of beers that people say are amazing and they are undrinkable to me.

Maybe I'm just overly sensitive because a nice red wine is my go to drink. Lol.

Some actual facts about Corona, this time.

Mexico has brewed beer since the 1500's.

Corona is the flagship product of Grupo Modelo.

It is a pale lager, and was created in 1925 to celebrate Cervecería Modelo's tenth anniversary.

Pale lagers use a long, cold fermentation process.

Reports put it at one of the five most-consumed beers in the world

Less than 5% of the all-inclusive resorts in Mexico have Corona on tap. Less expensive beers are used instead. Only a relative few of the most expensive AI resorts in Mexico have Corona on draft.

I figure that most real beer fans, will still have to go to the Beer hole, because the grocery stores will only be allowed the craft and national brands ... I can't see them being interested in some other exotic low volume brands anyway. Which is fine .... if nothing else the monopoly will be broken.

Take a look at the top 10 selling beers next time you're in...all blue/coors/canadian/bud etc

I meant people who can recognize good beer from bad one and prefer something else than all blue/coors/canadian/bud. Sure, this is the volume movers, but means nothing to me.

I love how anything that is a popular product is automatically 'crap' to the snobs. Budweiser? Canadian? Garbage. Real men drink REAL beer.... you know, from craft brewers run by sherpas in the Himalayas! F off.
