The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

This whole thing is a crap fest based on athletic people using the lanes in optimum conditions.
If you put aside the fear of riding in traffic (which is real and justified), you don't need much fitness to ride downtown. Often speeds are low and you get frequent breaks at lights. Ime, it is less effort than walking a similar route. Obviously, in some locations there are hill climbs that are pretty rough but ebikes (I mean pedelecs) are a great fit for those.

It would be interesting to look at the travel times over a whole year, 24/7. Include allowances for older people that might be using adult trikes.

Fix the public transit system. Fix the bad driver system. Fix the "Gotta work downtown" mentality. Fix obesity. Do those and the need for bike lanes will disappear.
I would happily use mass transit if it didn't cost virtually the same amount as using my car, while also costing me at least double the amount of time. And I do work downtown, while living in the suburbs, and never had the opportunity for a job remotely like the one that I have now prior to that. At least I currently get to work from home, 3 days a week, so I don't need to deal with that crapshow nearly as much anymore.

At least it was ION and not a motorcycle. Obviously that driver needs a hard reset in their situational awareness and driving skills.

Grainy, but looked like a Prius, so good luck with any awareness or driving improvements.

Dodge. Not much above prius drivers. I wonder what happens with insurance when you hit a train? No fault doesn't apply to the train so the car drivers insurance picks up that bill too?
