The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Wow. Another tree kills a driver in Brampton, this is getting out of control.

Defund trees.
Damn immovable objects getting in the way.

My cousin had that issue once…her car lost against the fence. Gas instead of brake.

As for this situation. My only sympathy is toward the passengers. They don’t deserve to die because the driver is an idiot.

Canadian trees baffle me, get hit by a car at 130km/h... not a scratch.... 20km/h wind blows through town and the entire thing falls over...
Back to the torque wrench discussion. Hit it with a car midway up the canopy and the results are far different.

A car is like a mosquito hitting you in the leg. Maybe a bee at full blast.

The canopy acts like a sail so the effect is MUCH greater as a whole.

Plus a lot of these trees have very shallow roots.

Leverage. A car impacts at just above what would be the pivot point. Wind pushes against the entire top of the tree.

Three siblings. 16, 17 and 19. Hauling ass at 2am. Sad.

EDIT:
"In the early morning of Saturday, August 20th, 2022, Tirzah (19), Judah (17), and Pharaoh (15) Blackman-Lall passed away in a fatal car accident on Elmvale Ave & Conestoga Drive in Brampton, Ontario.

Nature Blackman had seven children. Cairo, Keyanna, Tirzah, Dayton, Judah, Pharaoh, and Tien. They also had other siblings on their father's side: Taliyah, Eljah, Drivay, Desiree, Dreeam, and Destin."

Sad one near Barrie. Very likely kids being dumb with tragic consequences. Six kids in their early 20's on a dark closed road at night in a Veloster and it crashed into a construction site (which was why the road has been closed for months). It looks like it rolled and burned. All died. Ooof.

They apparently ended up in a sewer pipe under construction. Probably no way out. Awful. Definitely outdriving their headlights.

Just one lapse in judgement..
Reading the comments on YT it seems to be a pretty good split about how people feel about this.
I will say (in my opinion), they made a bad choice and paid for it.
I think Forrest Gump said it best...
