Some people are just dumb. If you have something that looks like a gun in the car, don't drive like an idiot. If you do get pulled over, for the love of god, don't take the weapon out of hiding and place it where it is visible. I have little hope that either of these morons will ever accomplish something good in life.

On July 25, 2022, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Northumberland OPP officers conducting speed enforcement on Highway 401 eastbound in the Cobourg area observed a vehicle travelling at a high-rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop. During the stop, one of the occupants removed a firearm from the glovebox and placed it on the dashboard. Officers affected an arrest and charged both occupants. Further investigation revealed that the firearm was a replica.

Bloody idiots could have gotten shot and it would have been ruled as justified.

Another winner. 23 yo man from Barrie Tinted windshield, no muffler, no turn signals, no seat belts and squished like a bug. I guess we should be Thankful he wasnt stanced.

Towed it home, then drove it to work the next morning? Until he gets caught again I guess. Have noticed quite a few tinted windshields lately.
One big lifted older gmc pickup with black windows, tinted windshield, big chrome rims that stuck out way past the fenders and a huge sticker across the back window "daddy's money" Ok buddy, your 20k truck isn't something anyone envies. So embarrassing.

It's probably bagged. Static low that low would be undrivable. Now, as far as the price of the tow, this guy seems dumb enough to say he is waiting for a truck and then cannonball run after the cop is out of sight.

Something else that I see tinted multiple times a day, that never seems to be dealt with, is plastic plate covers. They're patently, demonstrably illegal and yet I never see people get pulled over for them.

I got a pic of a good one of those. If your bumper was touching theirs, you could take an educated guess at the number. Any further back and it was invisible. At that point, the plate is completely useless and they should be charged as such. It was a black Audi s4.

Hahaha. Barrie police gave out 50 tickets related to vehicle noise. My favorite is the asshat that had a hood dump exhaust.

KW tow truck tagged at 131 in a 60. A little surprised they only gave them a stunting ticket. I wish there was a harsher penalty for "professional" drivers that are dangerous.

Since he has a lifetime ban the plate was likely either registered under someone else, or not registered/plated at all.

I think you are allowed to register plates and vehicles, you just cant drive them. No idea how insurance works with no primary driver. You're probably correct though, if you are going to ignore a suspension, why pay any other fees.

OPP HSD's Twitter Guy takes great delight at mentioning all the additional charges when posting their trophy kills, so I'd guess no.

If that's the case, then the first part of my statement holds true. It's also an offence to let someone who has a suspended license use your vehicle, so that would mean someone else is also in loads of trouble.

Probably coincidentally but yesterday I called the cops on a white honda civic being driven very poorly (50+ over limit, passing on double lines, passing over the crest of hills, forcing oncoming traffic onto shoulder, etc). Can't see plates in the pics so I can't tell if it is the same one. A white civic being driven by an idiot is not unique.
