I did a static line jump once with army issue circular shoot at about 3500 ft after 1 day instruction. Pretty awesome, but would love to get time in to be able to do some free fall diving from high altitudes.

i have the summer off and skydiving is on my bucket list as well...but i think i'm going to try hanggliding first instead...i've found a couple of places and tandem flights are about $150...i'd rather do it during the week as the bf and i go up to his cabin on weekends (he works during the week)...if you're up for that, let me know...

I did it thru STI, Skydive Toronto Inc. I think it was in or near Wasaga Beach. I did tandem but if I remember correctly they had an option where you can do a solo jump, but you have to take a course in the morning and jump the same afternoon/evening. They also have an option where you can get it video taped with someone jumping out at the same time as you with a helmet cam. (additional cost).

Hanggliding would be fun. I'll look into it, but I think that will be for August.

Interested in going again in the next month? I was also looking at this place as a possibility.

There were some people that wanted to stroke Sky Diving from their bucket list back in January, let's throw some dates around and jump.

I'm in on joining S500K.


Anyone know how to combine both threads?

Jumping the July 23rd is out for me... :(


Perhaps someone can help us put a poll together to choose a date?


(I did stroke playing my guitar live on stage off my bucket list this winter).

I will PM the interested parties to this post.

Yay, more people want to do it. I really can't do it on the 23rd either. I think August might be better for me.

I guess the easiest way to set a JUMP date is to post a poll and choose the date based on the most responses?

I'm doing skydivetoronto on July 17th if anyone wants to join. Skydiveburnaby is just to far to drive for me as I'm in the Durham region. I'm doing a tandem jump and it's my first jump.
