finally I got my **** together - Gonna stroke another item off the Bucket List!!!!

Tandem jump costs $299.00.

$50.00 deposit on Credit Card required.

The video is $105.00 extra



I have reserved 5-8 spaces for that time slot.

The jump is tandem, where you are strapped onto an experienced diver

Altitude is at 14,000 feet

1 minute free fall

5 minute glide down

Weight: Male - max. 225 lbs
Female - max. 220 lbs.

Wear running shoes, comfortable clothing, (shorts, tee shirt are ok.). We will be wearing a jump suit over our street clothes.

Allow 2-4 hours at the Jump site.

A suggestion for riding in....

One meet up in East Toronto...Hwy 2 and Port Union Timmies 8:00 am
Second meet up in Mississauga or Hamilton area 10:00 am
.
(I could use some help with a west end location) Then ride to jump site.

Ask any of your friends to join in on the ride to Burnaby or to jump with us .... the more the merrier.

Confirmed jumper's $50.00 deposits are due by Wednesday Aug. 24th.

Mention the coupon for $25.00 off and be sure to print coupon and submit it when we check in.

I just booked the Tandem jump for the 27th
I really dont feel like riding out there alone so if anyone is riding out together I would be more than happy to join them. I'm from the highway 50 and Highway 7 area but we can meet up somewhere and I ride a Ninja 250R

Glad you joined in! We can ride in together. Me (on bike), my son and wife in car, and Hardwrkr13 (riding). We can meet along the 401 or QEW? There may be other riders joining in. Dinner afterwards?

4 confirmed Skydivers! I won't be doing this alone! Yeeeaaaaa...

I'm interested in organizing a ride from the GTA to Skydive Burnaby. There are 4 confirmed Skydivers as of today.

The ride would be all day with local riding at Wainfleet (Skydive Burnaby).

I'm looking to have several meeting points along the way, such as Scarborough, Pearson, Oakville Ford Plant, Hamilton etc. Leaders and sweepers and others knowing the area from Mississauga to Wainfleet are welcomed to ride or pass on suggestions - routes, places to see and places to eat?

It would be awesome if a local rider(s) can take the group of non Skydivers on a tour of the area, while we jump from the plane?

We will need to find a place to eat after the jump, can anyone make any suggestions for local dining?

Looking forward to jumping out of a plane and having a great ride to boot.

Just a thought for any of the adrenaline junkies like me out there: if this jump goes well, maybe we could find a good bungee-jump place and do the same type of "ride out, jump, ride back" thing.

I might be near 10 and Brittania around 9 on Sat. If I am I'll catch a ride as far as Burlington with you guys. Been skydiving a bunch before and I have evening plans or I'd come the rest of the way.

Nice to hear you had a great jump, I assume it was a success, . And a nice way to enjoy it with fellow riders and to top it off dinner on a rooftop patio. Any trouble on the landing? My video was played in the hanger area while I was waiting and the workers commented on good exit, in air and landing form :happy3: A girl didn't keep her feet up in the air and at the last second dropped them, caught the ground and face planted with the instructor over her - she got a video too, what I memory I wouldn't want to remember bahhahahhahha:lmao:

Yes our skydiving was a success! I would like to thank those who participated and those who shared their experiences and recommendations.

The jump was 14,000 feet = 2.65 miles = 4.26 kilometers...

As I look over the video and photos - it is all coming back to me...the video and photos were well worth it.



Our motorcycle trip to the jump site was great.

After our ground instruction we suited up and entered the plane. I could feel my heart beat faster as the plane ascended. The fields became the size of postage stamps. The excited banter could be heard over the roar of the engine, I was scared ****less, and was wondering "what the **** was I thinking"? - Jumping out of a plane?

I'm afraid of flying and heights!

As I looked over at my son's huge grin, I knew this was going to be awesome!

We were stoked.


As I saw my son leap out of the plane, I thought - OH MY GOD, I'm next!

This is the look of fear (and unbelievable excitement) as I stand in the doorway looking down at the clouds and fields 14,000 feet below!

The rush of wind replaced the roar of the engine. The freefall was awesome. It was like entering another world. The line you see attached has a small parachute to reduce the speed of the free fall to that of one jumper.

When the chute was pulled I could feel the decelleration. The wind noise died down to the point that we could talk. Niagara Falls could be seen in the distance. I was allowed to steer the chute and could not believe I was doing this.


What a thrill !!!!

Thanks Seabreez, that really was an awesome day. Yep each jumper had a succesfull jump and no one backed out. I think everyone had great landings on their feet as well.
I've watched my vid a few times already and I've already paid for my next jump
It certainly does jack you up for the rest of the day. Thanks to all who came out and for Seabreez for getting the ball rolling on this and picking the route (nice route back to the QEW btw).

Rohan - great jump. I'm sure I'll see you around TO on another ride. If you buy me beers I might just tell you some stories

Seabreez - you and your family were great. That pic fo you at the plane doorway is priceless. Great job on conquering your fears. I can see you really enjoy that bike which is great to see. Hopefully catch up with you soon on another bucket list day (whitewater rafting/kayaking, bunjee-jump wink wink nudge nudge).
