Shopping list for 2013 track season

Picked up goodies at Bluestreak today.

New (bigger, cast iron) Braketech brake rotors, new brake pads, new grips. Wheels are shipping from the UK next week :)

I'm just about at the point where I have to design and build new caliper hangers.

I had mine on for 2 full tracks days. I have no problems with mine at all.

From what I've heard since then, Danmoto is a hit and miss. Apparently I got a bad one, hence the issues. The company itself took responsibility though, which is great!

My shopping list for 2013
-brembo master cylinder
-power commander 3
-520 chain kit
- 6x10 enclosed trailer
-tire warmers
- Pirelli sc tires

Still a decent price considering it hasn't been kicked around and scuffed to **** like some of the other ones I've seen.

I would be cautious of any used for work/construction purposes... they may be able to take a beating, tire warmer use is very different than heavy machinery use :p

But those that were purchased for warmer use only, like mine, I wouldn't second guess.

Not disputing the price what so ever, after months of searching on Kijiji, I can tell you that it won't get any better than that!

Updated list for 2013:

1 piece suit
Canopy

And I'm ready to go!

Keep an eye out on cherrypickerracing forum for the canopy.... I picked up an awesome Yamaha EZ Up for $150... all it needs is a cleaning and gorilla tape over the 1-2 dime sized tears and it's mint. But the frame was the most important part :p

I missed out on the Honda one that Ben was selling.
Oh well, I'll keep looking!

True, wasn't even thinking about altering a shelf suit. Thanks.

Just an FYI,, doesn"t matter who is doing the alterations but some suits just can"t be done with any level of cost affectiveness So talk to Drew and Sonny or who ever and make sure they know the suit you are looking at. Some stretch panels are really hard to work around and some suits do not have the seam work to allow simple nip and tucks. Sleeves and legs can be altered easy from the cuffs,, But ensure the armour is right or you need alterations from hip/thigh or shoulder. So don"t assume it can be done. get pictures of the torso sides and hip area and get your favourite leather person on speed dial. Wear the suit for at least 20 minutes and sit on a bike. And yes,,,,your butt will sag when you walk around the pits! And ,, the Arlen Ness tuff takes a beating! Saw a couple big crashes this year on them and very minimal work after the fact.

First time poster here. Hello everyone.

My wish list is complete for next year. Thanks to the jerk at Shannonville in Sept I have replaced my F150 with a F250. I have replaced the cargo trailer with a toy hauler. And all three race bikes are being rebuild at present so they will be ready for next year.

Nothing left on my list. Nothing left in my wallet.

Was that the super fancy car that crashed into your truck and trailer? Damn that was epic. Sorry for all the damage! If he could afford a car like that I sure hope he's covering your out of pocket $$$!
