wtf even more.I was there... actually I think TAFB's images are my pictures. And yes, everyone knows Aliki...
By the way, Benz buddy was dead drunk and had a beer in his hands when I talked to him. I don't think he should have got away with this, if it was me I'd have called the cops - period. Especially after I saw how much damage there was to my stuff. No way should bakaboy have paid a dollar for that accident.
Best line from him to me the next week...."Come on, you don't have to fix everything on the bikes. They are track bikes. They are going to get beat up anyway."
The 2 CBRs were new this year. My R6 is older and it took the brunt of the damage.
Yep, the elka has the same setup2.) the adjuster (on mine anwyays) has an allen key slot, so if you can't spin it by hand you can spin it with an allen key socket. Maybe the elka has something similar.
Yes Shaman, they are your images I couldn't remember what your name was on GTAM! And myself, as well as some other people in this thread, thank you for the quality of that second imageI was there... actually I think TAFB's images are my pictures. And yes, everyone knows Aliki...
Why do people buy Elka stuff?
By the time you spend the money and time fiddling with the stuff, you're well over the cost of an Ohlins unit.
but the stuff just doesn't work very well.
I was originally after an Ohlins unit but the price I got for my Elka was just too good! Why do people buy Elka stuff?

Why doesn't it work? They enjoy stress, aggravation and things that don't work?
My Elka Stage 4 was $895 installed, tuned and tweaked by John Sharrard of Accelerated Technologies. It was a way better price than I could find on any Ohlins unit? Why do people buy Elka stuff? Only done two track days on it, and a bunch of street riding, but I absolutely love it to bits. Night and day difference over OEM on the track.

Maybe the Mercedes had Elka ?
What kind of problems are you referring to?Not a lot of people have had racing success with them(and a LARGE number have had a lot of problems)
