Shopping list for 2013 track season

I'd like to go back to TMP and just see how much my times have changed but it's a long drive to a track that I don't like, besides it's fun to see the look on peoples faces when I say my best lap time was a 1:20. Might be worth the drive to see the show though lol.

grand bend is way nicer then tmp. its worth the drive!

Yeah but that's like saying Harvey's is better than McDonald's. I'll eat Harvey's burgers, if that helps the analogy.

Yeah and filet mignon is better than Harvey's, but can you afford filet mignon every day? Great point!
 
Hey, someone said they like GB over TMP, but who cares? Bogie is the best. That's where I go. Here's a pic.

Plus you avoid the weekend warrior types who are there only to impress their girlfriends/boyfriends. Weekdays are the serious folk who are there NOT ONLY to impress them, but to learn something too. LOL

I don't see a pic? How about a pic of you eating fillet mignon in Harvey's! Now THAT would be impressive to all the noobs and show them how awesome you are!

Only if it is Clint McBain's ex factory supported fillet mignon... With a pic of the lap timer confirming PB at Bogie.
 
My Clint Mcbain fillet when torn apart didn't end up being as great as I was told. It was more of a tenderloin sans bacon. I sure felt awesome riding it though lol.

Well seeing as how this is a shopping list thread I might as well contribute properly. 8 intake valves, 8 exhaust valves, retainers, springs, keepers for all, 4 connecting rods, 4 pistons+rings, refurbished/lightened/balanced crank, oil pump, upgraded gear to increase oil flow, shift forks, shift shafts, and a full gasket set. I probably missed a few misc items too. Good thing this was a low mileage motor at the beginning of the season....
