Shopping list for 2013 track season

same Corsara it's been a long time who knows maybe see you on the track, pretty sure I could compete with you on a real sportbike LOL but don't think I could ever give up the street riding just enjoy it too much as I always have trouble on my mind and pushing things on the street gives me that naughty feeling doing something you know you shouldn't be. Maybe to piss you off I'll PM you for every group ride I Lead or go on LMAO.

Manny Manny...you should really come try the track at least once, don't worry, you so good should be spanking my аss on your big Bandit, instead of picking on your good old friend Orlin (your first post before you edited it gave you away, hurt my feelings a bit..). But I've got the upper hand on the track, at least until you pick up, it really ain't the street..

Btw, street is not off the list by no means in the sense that I've been thinking for a while getting a streetable MX, or at least a dual sport, but never a sport again, i've got kids who need me and zero self control.

You've bought a fantastic track! I've always wanted one like that when I was a kid (no pun intended)

As far as the track... tires are still round and road is asphalt and you gotta have a big pair of cojones so don't think that would be an issue but my bike is definitely not made for track days too heavy its ok in the torque dept but not enough HP for those top speeds. I regret it right away and I don't mean to pick on you I apologize maybe this is my way of trying to get you to ride the streets and you are right your kids do need you so keep that in mind.

Take care Orlin

Manny, your bike is heavy but you're thin, my bike is light but I'm 200lb, and at Cayuga you won't need those top speeds :) Come on try the track in the spring, we'll have some good time, pop a beer at the end and call it a good day!

You know what Orlin you let me know when you go come spring I'lll come watch first time so you can show me the ropes and we'll take it from there. My worries for the track are I am uber competitive and that can be a problem:?:?

Honda vs Woman
Mr Honda, of the Honda Motorcycle Corporation, died and went to heaven for judgment. At the gates, St. Peter told Mr Honda, "since you've been such a good man and your motorcycles have changed the world, your reward is, you can hang out with anyone you want in Heaven." Mr Honda thought about it for a minute and then said, "I want to hang out with God. I have a question for Him." St. Peter took Mr Honda to the Throne Room and introduced him to God. Mr. Honda then asked God, "Aren't you the inventor of women?" God Said, "Ah, yes. Indeed I am". "Well," said Mr Honda, "Professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your design; 1- There's too much inconsistency in the front-end protrusion. 2- It chatters constantly at high speeds. 3- Most of the rear ends are too soft and have excessive wobble. 4- The intake is placed way too close to the exhaust. 5- Plus the monthly down time and aggravation are outrageous, and I don't even wanna start talking about the maintenance costs. "Hmmmm, you do raise some good points" replied God, "Lets have a wee look." God went to his Celestial super computer, typed in a few things and waited for the results. After a moment God said, "Well, it may be true that my invention seems to be flawed, but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours."

Trying to break off the bro love going on up in here with some humor

It's easy to get in way over your head on the track, especially if you're trying to keep up with someone. Have you seen Twist of the Wrist 2? Lots of great things in there, more street oriented but keeps your *** a little safer on the track too.

Just remember, ride your own ride, at a pace you're comfortable with. You can up it bit by bit but remember every time you come out of the pits, your tires are cold so will need a few laps before you can get back to the pace you were running just prior!

Your bike would be great on a tight track like TMP, don't need much top speed, even the Ninja 250's (and the odd CBR 125 too!) catch up to the 1k's on the infield!

I plan to run TMP a bunch this season, might see ya there! Keep an eye out for the blue 07 R1 with stock OEM bodywork and retarded loud pipes. If you catch me at the beginning of the season they won't be scratched up :)

Hey TAFB, Bandit knows his sh*t and will be fine on the track after a few sessions.

Are you gonna run on street tires next season at TMP?

Bridgestone S20's baby :) Love them tires. My bike is still a street bike too, so not planning on running any super crazy track tires. At my pace they seemed to be holding up really well, but I guess I won't know for sure until a hot summer day!! :)

I thought you'll be stepping up the pace a bit this year, otherwise how're you gonna catch me on my flying slicks ;)

Thanks for the advice on motomummy.

I have a buddy that works at blue streak racing, and told me that Tony will come pretty damn close to match the price.

Get a new hyper pro damper for the bike, and get it north of the boarder, :)

I might need to go to TMP this year, just to see this battle to the death. haha

ehhhhh.... TMP. Not likely to see me there. Or I'd join you. ;)

I am hatching a clever plan to get to grand bend for a weekend... but it's just a plan at this point, maybe in august.

I doubt I'll be at TMP this year either. If I do go it will be a quiet weekday so I can break my personal best. I want to do that since this will likely be my last year on the SV.

I plan to do lots of TMPs and a few Grand Bends, maybe I'll see you to say hi :)

If I manage to schedule it with work, I'd prefer the weekdays too, not too packed at all so lots of seat time as I've discovered last season.
