At one point in the beginning, I looked behind me and I swear I was in the ROC 2011 video.. Lol. Just not as many wheelies lol

Just Ramon's wheelies every two minutes at 140 on the 400 :p

That one there is no excuse for. No sand ...

Failure to look THROUGH the corner to where you want to go.

Failure to pick the correct lane position prior to the corner (camera bike was not in the right place, either). But the speed was low enough that it should have been recoverable even from the wrong side of the lane ... by LOOKING WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.

And Mavelick95, the other crash was *completely* avoidable had the rider done the right things. Other bikes in front made it through ... That bike's entrance line into the corner was completely wrong. It's hard to criticize the turn-in point because the rider basically DIDN'T turn in. You could see that it was a left turn over the crest - you could see the sign - that should prompt moving towards the right side of the lane to have a better line through the corner, even if you can't see the corner yet because it's over a blind crest ... and that should prompt slowing down before you get to the crest.

Come on, folks. TAKE AN ADVANCED TRAINING COURSE before you go on a track day, and before you go on a group ride.

And read the sticky thread about riding in a group.

just a heads up- I don't think I have ever seen a thread in the rides and hookups section get to 3333 views so fast.So Lime green you have definitely left your mark on this forum.Continue on folks:happy1:

Who cares about the plates. There is nothing illegal going on. **** people are still scared cause of that one guy in vancouver.

Brian is showing what went wrong with this ride. Riders going harder then they should have been.

THREAD OF THE CENTURY! Will it be better then Boston Pizza Thread?! Only time will tell!

Staylor are you gonna set something up where we can uoad our footage. I would love to exchange footage with others from sunday. I saw a lot of cameras that day.

I think it was an awesome run with a few soar moments when 2 riders went down...... Either way, people need to be a little less sensitive and more skillful : If I'm on your A** in a turn, let me pass by or dont complain when I cut you off in the next turn.

Overall, gorgeous day and good boot. Maybe next time we'll have a smaller crowd !

So you cant pass someone without cutting them off?
Interesting.

Wow, you be stealin the Scarb Group Ride's thunder!

And Tej, this ain't a track day. Don't be riding peoples ***** and don't be stuffing them in the corners. If you can't pass them normally, on a straight, don't pass them unless they wave you by. What ever happened to the "no passing in corners" talk before the group ride? The guy with the gopro must have missed that :(

Oh I totally agree with you, I just wanted to make a point that not all crashes can be saved. Yes this crash was rider error because he chose to fly over a blind hill, and had a wrong line for that corner, way to close to the outside in the right tire track. He definitely could have avoided it. Sorry, should have made my point more clear, will do next time :)

never mind your crazy line, i had my share of avoiding to deal with.

First vid, person behind crashes. All this pile up cuz of person in front of me jamming on breaks in the corners.

Second vid, ZX-10r other dude crashed earlier, stay on your side of the road.

No offense guys, maybe something to consider working on.. to prevent future mishaps

What the hell are you complaining about? If this guy was too slow for you on the curves then pass him, simple to deal with, and the 2nd video the guy rides on the opposite side of the road because of YOU trailing his arse, you should had passed him at the first sign of noobieness and you would have prevented both mishaps. If you are so good then you should had been 2nd or 1st in that group ride, not pressuring noobs ahead of you.

When toysareforboys and Pegassus become the voice of reason, people need to re-evaluate what they are doing in group rides.

Wow.

The dude who passed right along side that bike in the corner .. nice job ******.

You would be picking your chicklets off the ground at the next stop, if you tried that **** with me.

I also split from this group as soon as I saw that the curves on that road had sand on them, I almost low-sided, I also barely missed a pick-up truck's mirror by about 5mm that was coming the opposite direction on a curve... that would had ended great for me.

What I hated about this ride were the invincible supermen going behind the noobs and passing them dangerously on curves, didn't these idiots have enough time to pass them in those kilometer-long straights rather than in the curves? I passed the noobs in the straights, unlike the moron on an R6 that tried to pass me in a curve, you know what buddy sorry I cutted you off but because of your stupidity I would have crashed against the bushes because you were invading my space and leaving me running out of curve, I prefer your arse on the ditch than mine.

This road has too many blind spots after the curves, if it was a one-way it would be beautiful because if you raced off a curve you would go in the bushes and not the hood of a F-150 truck. The 2nd time I almost wiped out was at a curve were exactly at that moment there were 4 guys on bicycles, I think the mirror of my bike gazed the elbow of one of them. If there's someone to blame for the downfall of these 2 guys it was the hooligan ding dongs who tailgated them, they crashed trying to not be an obstacle, if you invincible supermen would had been smart you would have formed your own little cliche at the head of the pack and nobody would have crashed trying to not obstruct you.

One question; why did that bozo with the camera on his helmet insisted in going behind me even when I motioned to him with my hands to pass me?
