The Host sux.

Well it was written by the same woman who wrote the Twilight series. Has nothing to do with aliens taking over the world and everything to do with teenagers making goo-goo eyes at each other.

The Host sux...............My 14 year daughter convinced me it was a sci fi that would be cool!!!!!!..................Never heard of it...........thought what is the worst that could happen............hate it when my kid ropes me in like that.

If they make a sequel it will go straight to................netflix.........yuck!!!!
Try watching the 2006 film called The Host. Much better movie.

In other words a teen angst movie, with window dressing.

Watchin older westerns of late, The Outlaw Josey Wales...Clint classic...awesome. Bunch of John Wayne movies...Red River...very good. Rio Lobo.....average. Stagecoach...another classic

Unforgiven. Mule for Sister Sara.

Unforgiven. Mule for Sister Sara.

Two mules for Sister Sara...to be exact. All excellent flicks...just delving into my western archives of late.

Thanks for the correction.
I was never good at Math with my shoes on.

Gets complicated...I know...never my best subject either.

Once Upon a Time in the West. Puts all other western's to shame.

It's usually ranked in the top few that's for sure...Henry Fonda bein a bad dude was awesome.
I like so many hard to say...The good the bad and the ugly has been my all time fav for so long...Think Unforgiven has unseated it.

Unforgiven, The good the bad and the ugly, Tombstone, Once upon a time in the west, Searchers, True Grit, Jeremiah Johnson, High Noon, The wild bunch, and alot tied for 10th...lol.

3:10 to Yuma (the original w. Van Heflin and Glen Ford).

Oblivion = interesting
A good day to die hard = waste of time. They ran out of ideas when making this one.
G.I. Joe retaliation = also waste of time. Boring as hell.

I'm not really a tom Cruise fan, what made oblivion so interesting?

Concept. Took a while to understand it. It's not one of those where you can guess the plot right away.

Not to a long time Sci Fi and hard SF reader. I've already got it from the commercials, confirmed by someone who read the graphic novel.

Dredd

I love not having to think during movies. And having the blonde not wear a helmet was key to saving it from being a 100% sausage fest (only a 99% sausage fest).

The helmet blocks her psychic abilities, as per the comic. It also helps with having her hair blow in the wind.
