The Last Stand - Good stupid action movie, doesn't take itself seriously, just decent mindless fun

Didn't like the over the top GM advertising, the whole movie is basically a GM commercial, but guess that's what they have to do now to make a movie

Conan sword cameo is awesome btw

Watched Parker.

Classic Stathom. Mechanic/Safe/Transporter type movie.

JLo looking good stripped down to her skivvies.

I think that's the appeal. It's so bad. You just can't look away.
 
I saw Broken City on the weekend. It was kind of a let down. Saw Gangster Squad a few weeks ago and it was a lot better. Can't wait until Fast and Furious 6 :D.
 
The Samariton with Samual L Jackson was a bit of a surprise. Canadian flick. Might have to force yourself through some slow parts but there was enough plot to keep me watching.
 
Silver Lining Playbook. Not to bad considering I hate movies.
 
Galaxy Quest. Re-watched recently after I caught a bit of it on TV. I forgot how funny this movie was

Unthinkable was a pretty good dvd/rental movie. Samuel L Jackson was good and a good role for Carrie-Ann Moss. 7.5/10

Buddy came in to work today talking about it... Said it was so offensive about half the audience left, but he thought it was pretty funny... So I think I'll go check it out just to see how bad it really was!
 
watched v/h/s, decent little horror. a lot of what the **** moments. no real story to it though. the "main story"is a group of guys who were hired to steal a vhs tape from a house. and they end up watching a few of the tapes inside, which are side stories. basically it's a collection of short horror stories
 
about to watch " here comes the Boom "

no high expectations. looks like another " watch the fat guy act stupid " kinda movie.
