Its funny how Terantino also play crappy character in his movies. This is prob not one of his movies, but in most, he dies

Probably not one of his movies? What are you talking about? He wrote/directed it.

I didn't think Django was all that great. It was too slow paced for me.

That's cool...but what high paced great movie have you watched recently?

This is the first movie since Tarantino's regular editor passed away so it definitely felt different compared to his other movies. Don't think it was slow paced though, most of his movies are, heck look at Reservoir Dogs

just finished watching DREDD. was pretty good.

Saw it in the theatre and figured it was worth owning, so I watched it again on the weekend. I don't know what Stalone was playing, but it wasn't Dredd. Karl urban was Dredd. Hoping for a sequel.

just finished watching D'jango on dvd..

this movie has everything. just keeps on giving when you think it could be over.

the writing is brilliant. Tarantino is an absolute master filmaker of our generation

Seven Psychopaths, from the same guy that wrote/directed In Bruges, highly recommended

Monsters - Low budget District 9 meets Cloverfield kinda flick (but no Blair Witch "documentary" crap). NASA finds life in the solar system, the probe crashes over Mexico, now half of it is infested by ginormous aliens, some photographer finds himself in the same town as the bossman's daughter so he has to take her back to the US through the infested zone. Not winning any Oscars, plenty of holes in the plot (they did a lot of improvising as they went along) but I'm not asking for my money back either. Great chemistry between the 2 main characters. If you're into either of the 2 types, it's a decent way to pass 90min

Iron Sky - It's a pretty decent political comedy. Didn't give me any LMAO moments, but I still enjoyed it. NASA mission finds a colony of Nazis on the dark side of the moon and the only survivor is a black model astronaut brought along as a publicity stunt for the US president as her popularity is going down the tubes. Some dialogue is in German, so it's subtitled. Avoid this movie if you can't speak German or are illiterate

The Last Stand. Arnie mails it in, knoxville is pretty funny. Bottom line: longest Chevy commercial ever.
Rent it. Decent Sunday afternoon movie. You don't need the full theater experience for this one.

Django was hilarious. I love Tarantino movies:)

Lincoln was pretty good too.

Ted: Whoever said that it was a two hour long Family Guy episode had it nailed. Base you decision to see it on that.

I just watched "The last Stand"

I must say it was a movie worth watching in the theater. I'm glad Arnie is back making good movies.

Its funny how the whole movie was about him being "old", lol

I give that movie 2 thumbs up

Dead Season - I like to watch lots of low budgets and indie movies as plenty of them turn out to be gems.. This wasn't the case.. Mostly in the style of late 70's/early 80's exploitation flicks, got slow and fast zombies, got cannibals, but all in all pretty crappy. Not the worst I've seen but a kind of a waste of 90min. Take a skip even if you're a genre fan

Hit & Run, supposedly cost only $2M to make. A lot better than it should be, recommended rental/download

I missed that, sorry
