Not a recent one but still a good one - Der Untergang - It's the movie that all those funny Hitler vids changed the subs and posted on youtube, like "Hitler got a wrong bike". It's an excellent war drama about the last days in Berlin as the Soviets came knockin' with their Mosins and SKS'
Lol that movie came out so long, lol. I saw it when it was released. It was nice getting a german perspective.
Were the sks in production yet? I thought it was only the mosin & svt?

The Last Stand is hilarious.
Speaking of German perspective, don't miss Das Boot. A limited production series was put to field trials during the Russian liberation of Berlin. It was well-received by the troops but quickly replaced by the cheaper to produce, selective-fire AK-47.
I think i've watched Das Boot. Is that a movie of a German Sub & its crew?
So i guess the sks is more like the an94

Yes, that is the one.. I bought the 2 DVD set and may or may not have pirated the BR Yeah, pretty much like AN-94 except for an insanely complicated action. The SKS can be "maintained" by an illiterate peon in the boons. Each Nikonova requires a dedicated team of 96 gunsmiths and 249 apprentices, plus a few helpers
Have u watched "the hunt for red october" yet? U might like that

You even have to ask? Definitely in my cool book.. I only smoke cigars when I watch that one
right meow?so true omg
I admire your taste in movies, sir.
How about K19-Widowmaker?
Based on actual events of a nuclear sub, where the crew sacrificed themselves to prevent a full-out nuclear war. I must say I was moved to tears in that performance.
History Channel did a documentary, commentary & showed the film after. Pretty in depth. I was seriously moved on what happened
Excellent flick. Not entirely based on facts but still a pretty decent account. I'll have to watch it again, maybe while on my working vacation
