Watched Alex Cross....started alright had some good moments...again a revenge flick...sicko bad dude..but the end could've been better. I will give it a solid 3 out of 5... definitely good sit at home flick after the hockey game.

I couldn't get through zero dark thirty. I kept falling asleep with it. Is it only popular because they kill Bin Laden in it and use the movie to justify spending all that money to find him?

Saw the latest Die Hard. Exactly what I was expecting. Not a great movie but got to see some crap explode and yipee-kai-yay. Russian chick on bike = HOT

I liked it too, fun movie.... even better in IMAX (I was hearing static/white noise for an hour after the movie ended)

not sure if mentioned before, but the new Dredd was pretty good.
Just a nice simple action flick, had a bit of that 80s bad guy feel. 1.5 thumbs up.

Skyfall was alright, a very good movie no doubt. Some great throwbacks to old school bond. Just didnt feel like a bond movie.
I think they all need fancy cars, cool gadgets and hot chicks...

Depends on which Bond you're talking about. I rather enjoyed getting back to the "thug in an expensive suit" Bond from Flemming's original novels, which Craig has portrayed very well. I think that image was very well shown in a single little part of a scene; the cuff straightening, after he jumps into the torn open train car. To me THAT is Bond.

Yes, Dredd was mentioned and it was quite good. Very true to the English comic, unlike the Stalone pile.

I'm more attached to the sophisticated gentleman in a suit

Bond a metrosexual....think not...thug is better

Agreed. The sort of person who would shoot a guy in the face, then apologize for getting brains on his lady friend's shoes. Maybe.

Apologies are for sissies unless he follows up with a shoe-related neg :D

Rather liked Skyfall.

Flight? It was alright.

I would leave that for Jason Bourne.
I'm a Bourne kind of guy rather than Bond

The Sessions

it's an independent film on the Rogers movie channel right now... based on a true story

bizarre subject matter....Helen Hunt bares it all on multiple ocassions....and William H Macy plays a Priest

most shocking is the guy playing the lead role is not nominated for an Oscar

fantastic movie

Bourne is very cool...even the new Bourne was very well done...Craig has revitalized the Bond dude. Skyfall may not be his best...still very good. Both are awesome and I'd watch them over sessions...lol. Now that's creepy kinky weird shat...lol. Cool cars, exciting stunts...hot babes = awesome movie.

I wasn't that impressed by Skyfall.. Reasonably entertaining, but the story was weak, they were trying to get cute with it and stretching things a lot. Not a waste of time but not a must-see
