saw bad teacher over the weekend.

it wasnt very good.

it used the same premise as bad santa, but wasnt as successful.
i am sure Diaz is a funny chick, but in the lead role of a comedy....just didnt work for me.

there are few lines and scenes that she made much much better, for various sexually explicit reasons.

it had a few moments and a few one liners that made me laugh, but all in all not very good.

oh and i watched true grit again.

i think i liked it better the second time.

great movie!

Picked up Lord of the Rings trilogy bluray extended edition. (Walmart sale 60$ regular 75)

Watched the first one so far. Forgot how good these movies were plus with the extras makes so much more sense. Watching it 1080p is freaking awesome!

Last night I watched "Priest". Vampires, cowboys, and The Church. Better than average action movie. An interesting take on an old story. Based on a comic book I believe.

Priest was alright, but they really made it too short.. The movie would have benefited from another 40min of runtime to smooth it out. The other issue was that they made some things too obvious from the very start through their casting choice, so their bomb wasn't much of a bomb for anyone who watched that movie here last night. Still, if you like a good vampire action flick with a bit of Hongkonglywood influence, it's worth watching once or twice. Not sure if it's a keeper, though.

La Soga (translated as "The Butcher's Son" for the gringo market) - A very solid thriller-drama with a bit of action.. Dealers deported from the States kill the kid's dad right in front of him, so he ends up working as Fantino's wet dream in a country where legal niceties such as due process aren't really observed.. Can't tell you more of the plot, but make sure you don't watch this with someone who can't take a bit of blood on-screen. I've seen better but it's definitely a keeper

The Eagle - That kid from Never Back Down is a Roman centurion who came to Britannia to recover the golden eagle banner lost when the natives went chop-chop on his dad's legion. Ok if you have nothing better to do, but it's about as bad as King Arthur (just less entertaining). Reeks of USA USA USA RAH RAH RAH crap. They didn't even bother with the pretense of the higher moral ground, this time around.

Transformers 3: Went in with LOW expectations and came out fairly entertained. Better than the 2nd one, but that isn't saying much. What's her butt in this movie is better looking than Megan Fox for the most part, but that scene in the first movie with Fox standing over Sam's car is still one of the best movie scenes ever.

There's less dizzying camera work and less jar-jar binks-esque racist robots, but there's a lot of unnecessary robot "humanization" and random "Sam love interest" plot points, but overall the plot was pretty interesting. It fizzles at the end, of course, and there's all kinds of Michael Bay-splosions and cheese everywhere, but its definitely watchable.

Also, they kill off a fairly major transformers character and pay no attention to it. I was sad....that crap made me sad.

Oh and there's a crap ton of cameos in this movie haha.

Spot on. Yeah ironhide died pretty fast without anyone caring. Don't agree with what you said about the girl. I thought megan fox was 10x hotter. Blonde just looked like a dumb tramp they picked up from the sidewalk. Her acting was fail for the most part.

Saw Suckerpunch over the weekend.

Good movie to fall asleep to.

i dont think you should spoil it for ppl.....but yeah who really cares cause this movie was stright up garbage!!!! i went in with reallly low expectations and still i get sooo anoyed with the random ******** and terrible characters that i just dont care about. better the 2 but still a huge waste of time.

Here are a couple worth noting..

The new Xmen movie - Fairly decent, nothing to write home about, not a waste of time/money. Of course, each one makes the holes in the plot that much worse but at least they're moderately entertaining.

Sword of War - Italian Braveheart in English.. Total fail.. Crappy acting (with the exception of Rutger and he wasn't all that inspired either, liked him better in Hobo With a Shotgun), of course you can kiss historical accuracy goodbye, the fight scenes were cheezy and the speeches left a lot to be desired. I want my 2.5 hrs back

Company - Mumbai mafia flick from 2002.. It's pretty decent as far as they go. Not your typical Bollywood production (so you won't see the actors break into lipsync and dance).. If you are into gangster stuff, you won't be disappointed with this one. Nowhere near the level of the Election movies though.

Just watched Friends with benefits last night and I must say, I really enjoyed it! I thought just another chick type flick, but I read the reviews and it was cheap night and wow, really really funny!!

Captain america rocked. Some parts were slow and the movie could've definitely been longer to show more of the storyline but still a good flick! Worth watching!

don't forget to stay after the credits ;)

+1 for Captain America. Some parts were cheesy, but overall, good movie. And Green Lantern was even better...awesome action and good story line.

The documentary "Inside Job", narrated by Matt Damon. Watched it last night on NetFlix. Recommended to everyone.

Source Code - cool premise, entertaining.

the Eagle - should win one or two Razzies, minimum

Limitless - again, cool premise and good entertainment. Bradley Cooper does a good job as the lead character

Agree with everything you posted.

Captain America was pretty good. i like how they digitally shrunk the actor to pre-supersoldier midget size, looked very convincing. But way too many historical inaccuracies if you're a war history buff like me. It was a segregated military in WWII, blacks and whites did not fight together yet they were mingling about with each other like they were pals. And they even threw in a Chinese dude for even more effect, never would've happened. Too much advanced technology, there were LEDs everywhere and I think I spotted one soldier wearing a mini-mic. Yeah, you could chalk it up to Stark but that would just be a lazy explanation.
