Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

LOL ^

Saw the parliament channel....... boring.

Age of Heroes last night. Dramatization of Ian Flemming and a commando raid on a Nazi RFID installation in Norway. It was ok. Some of the parts were well played.

I saw Kelly's Heroes when it came out in the theaters. I remember going to see Hornet's Nest about the same time. You might wanna IMDb that one.

Kelly's Heroes rocks! Gotta love Oddball! It came out in the theaters years before my parents even met though

Watched 5 Days of War last night (what's with all the war movies lately?). Reportes covering the Georigian civil war. I found my attention waning towards the end. Heather Graham and Val Kilmer? She dies in the first scene, and he has about 10 lines in 3 scenes. 2 1/2 minutes, tops.

Hahaha, then u must grow up with Steve McQueen, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood (that guy is just awesome), Lee Marvin, and the likes, lol

My sig on another forum is "the only person worth following on Twitter is Steve McQueen". Read his biography Hell on Wheels on a flight to Scotland in 1970. I would have been 12 at the time.

I just scanned his Bio, I didn't know he was a racer; both auto and moto. That guy is cool, lol

Steve was a regular at the Mulholland Dr. night time (auto) street races (complete w. flip plates and kill switch for the tail/brake lights) in the late 60s early 70s.

Speaking of Steve-esque movies...
New Movie with Ryan Gosling called Drive,

Zenith - Another low-budget indie production that turned out quite well. In a future world that turned to ****, a former med-student turned drug dealer finds old VHS tapes made by his conspiracy nut father and starts investigating. It was really well made and definitely worth watching. You can legally download it for free at http://vodo.net/zenith Just a note, I don't think this movie falls into the cyberpunk genre as stated on the webpage. It was released in 3 parts, so you gotta DL all 3 if you want the full story

Edit: It's also available on US Netflix, but not sure about CDN and no, I don't do Netflix due to Silverlight

Just watched Lucio Fulchi's "Zombie" and loved every second of it. Fantastic gore effects and a pretty decent plot for a zombie flick. After, I watched Stagefright: Aquarius. Ridiculous plot but I doubt I've ever found a slasher flick so entertaining. Owl head killer is a win.

I just bought the fighter from walmart on dvd and blue ray combo for 10 bucks. Advertised onlne for 10 sticker price was 33 so the cashier fixed it for me. It is such a great movie.

Saw super 8 last night. For the great reviews it was getting, I was expecting a better movie. The premise/concept is great, but I feel like it could've been better-executed. I also expected the child actors to be worse - they were better than I thought.

I'm pretty amped for Transformers, tbh. I really wanna see how the hell they managed to just cut out Megan Fox's character. How the hell is Shia supposed to get over the love of his life; someone who survived the end of the world TWICE with him? Also, what do you guys think of the replacement chick?

Just saw Super 8 and demanding a do-over to get my time back. Terrible mash-up of Stand By Me, Alien and ET
