I've heard this tire slashing often, but I don't think it was confirmed was it? A possible explanation for a busted tire would be running over a metallic object like a bike's pegs and stunters cage.

For some reason he didn't want to blow his cover. Something tells me he wasn't there to bust them for riding like a bunch of goons. Cops get sent undercover for much better reasons than that. Those morons on the bikes must have been the real saints
I'm not agreeing with what the cop did or didn't do but it's explainable. No badge, no gun and it would have been 99 on 1. Doubt many people would have said anything.

It is alleged that the SUV driver did force some bikes to shift over. He also opened his sun roof and tossed a water bottle at them.
This occurred a ways back and what you see in this video is them trying to catch up to him. They claim he was driving erratic and that Cruz guy was in front telling him to slow down.
As I have stated previously, there is more to this story that we do not know.

So now tell us what your Cops were doing there. Show us proof that they were working because if they were you are now on the hook for them participating.

He is in the video telling the bikers to back off and they did. He is not a biker, but just a guy passing by who also has children, yet he stepped up where the Cops stepped back.

From the legal standpoint in other states and possibly NY the driver should be charged with a hit and run.
That is normal operating procedure for other States. Then they investigate and drop the charges if necessary.
Technically he did hit a pedestrian at that point and he took off.

You may want to take a look at Cruz's own statement about what he was doing... it contrdicts what you state above.

I am not his lawyer nor do I know him nor do I care what he did.
If he acted AFTER the SUV driver started it then they will sort it out.
There is more to come, we have not seen it all yet.
The Police will have to pick a side and defend it in order to protect their officers.

I don't think that would be the first time an undercover cop has done something wrong to protect his cover. Seriously though, just because of the cop issue doesn't make what these thugs did ok or legal. They're going down no two ways around it.
