Calm down Gary. That post makes sense. They were sensibly trying to stop the suv who I'm sure initiated the event. Not the 100+ ******** on bikes illegally. :rolleyes:
 
Eyewitness accounts (including that of the man who stopped the beating) state that these thugs were also smashing the passenger side door and window and pulling the wife out of the car while yelling "you're gonna get it too".

D, not only are you defending thugs and criminals, you're defending woman-beaters and almost-murderers. These animals should be put down like stray dogs.

he gets bumped, just as the helmet cam is panning away, you can see the tap and jolt. it's barely worthy of being called a bump, but there is contact..like you said though, he continues to ride so it certainly wasn't worthy of what occurred next.

The driver "understanding" what you're doing is irrelevant. How many times do people on the road do something that you "don't understand" but as a driver it is YOUR responsibility to drive defensively according to what other people around you are doing?

If someone makes a left turn in front of you (let's assume you're in a car) and you decide "hey, my car's a POS, I have a seat belt on, EFF this guy, I'm in the right!" and you plow right into them without touching your brakes or making an effort to avoid.... you will not walk away without charges. Now a lot of this depends on the attending police officers and how they view the situation but if there's an absence of skid marks and witnesses collaborate that you didn't even attempt to move... you're in trouble.

Ignorance is not an excuse here. The biker didn't just grab a fistful of brake, he was slowing down and from the looks of the video, they weren't travelling at a very high rate of speed. Whether SUV driver "understood" what was happening or not, he had ample time to brake accordingly. Again, I agree with you that the biker was completely in the wrong - but this does NOT give you the right to make contact with him - and had he NOT made contact with him, I'm confident (which means nothing, I know) that none of the escalation would have followed (provided the SUV had not already done something retarded that we did not see in the vids).

Condition these drivers to view you as a gang member or a thug and guess what, they just might plow you down too and simply say to a Judge there were 4 of them with loud bikes and tattoos. They cut me off and shaked their fist at me so I was afraid for my life.

I've been riding a long time, never had such a situation. Wanna know why? Because I don't ride with armed criminal thugs and endager the lives of other motorists and pedestrians.

I see where you're going with this and while in some instances I would agree, this wasn't this groups first dance as proven on multiple videos.

Like I said we do not have all the facts and the audio. If they were telling him don't move the Police are coming etc...
What did the Police tell the SUV driver e.g. wait for us there or run?

If the bikers called the Police first or soon after to say this guy hit one of them and they have him stopped but he is trying to run...ffwd they chase the SUV box him in and tell him don't run wait for the Police then the SUV tries to run again so they slash his tires...ffwd now they box him in again with the bikes waiting for the Police so now he plows over them.

See that is a possibility for the bikers to say we tried to make a Citizens arrest or contain him waiting for the Police that we called or the Police could have told them to keep him there.
We don't know all of that. The default state is not to just beat someone to a bloody mess for no reason especially knowing you have cameras rolling for your Youtube videos later.

There is too much missing.

It's the same damn mindset that allowed Michael Bryant to kill that cyclist and get off without even a driving on the sidewalk ticket.

Turn on all the assists (abs/traction/steering help/braking help) and even you can be good at motogp :lmao:
