November riders...post your rides. Season's not over yet

What's a breath box?
It's a flexible piece that clips/buttons to the chinguard on the inside of your helmet and tightly cups your nose and mouth to direct all of your breath down and out of the helmet. Works sweet.

just rode once in November and my hands were freezing cuz i dont have proper gloves for cold weather. Gonna ride this whole weekend since the weather is gonna be amazing, according to our trusted weatherman.

See I always thought that was just the one that comes with the helmet but upon closer inspection it looks like that is something different. I have the same helmet as you so I'll have to source one I guess.

Which glasses do you use?

Just regular riding glasses with clear or yellow lens, foam (soft/plushy foam seems to seal better than rubber one).
Hmm I've never actually seen riding-specific glasses. I'll keep an eye out for them. Fogging was definitely a problem for me this morning more so than it has been in the past. Maybe because in the past I was on country roads so moving a lot more whereas today I was in Toronto traffic. The helmet is also older so the anti-fog coating might not be working as well as it used to.

Toronto traffic is what causes me to have visor open, even worse on the way home when dark - one breath out and you can't see anything :)

$20 versions of these glasses work well for me (eBay, amazon, local vendors on events such as Port Dover, Ride for Sight etc.), there are models much more expensive, some have interchangeable lenses.. I am trying to stay out of expensive ones as I tend to scratch/loose/break them so I need cheap replacements.

A breath box costs $15 and you can close your visor:)

I think I might have one kicking around somewhere that came with one of my helmets, anyway. I'll have to look for it. Otherwise, good to know. I assume you have to get the right one for your helmet?

I ended up going to Royal and trying a few with my Shoei, the jr one ended up fitting it perfect. Need to test it out in my Arai, if it doesn't fit where the clips are, I can always tape it in with electrical tape.

You can smoke with a full face helmet on? lol Pics or it didn't happen.

I've seen it happen. Dude stops the group ride to ask me for a light what a do*che. Not riding with the guy ever again.

Ahhhhhhh, felt so good riding my bike from Orangeville home today. Perfect weather for a ride:)

20 degrees here in Washington DC and no ride :(
Still nice to outside seeing the sights.
17 degrees and sunny for the ride in today. Had to bust out the summer gloves!
I think I'm going to pay for it on the ride home, though!
