MotoGP 2015

FFS you're just constantly missing the point. The heart of the matter is that Marquez SLOWED DOWN to mess up Rossi's championship bid on purpose. It's unprecedented in any race of any kind that I'm aware of. That means there is no comparable situation in all of history. Not Gibernau, not Lorenzo, not Simoncelli.

Let me ask you this, had the events occured like they did over the weekend except the outcome of the start of the race, would the tone change on Marquez? Meaning, if Marc had a crappy *** start and was in 4th on the first lap, kept the same pace for at least half the race then starts battling Rossi for 3rd (like how they were on sunday), would then deem this acceptable? We already know Marquez is reckless and he'll make passes like no one else but you think then Rossi would've been ok with it in this scenario?

Here's why Lorenzo was boo'ed off the podium:

Lorenzo deserves to be booed then. He's got some issues of his own.
Favourite riding style out of all the aliens. I admire his mentality when it comes to the other riders, and admire his less than PC comments. But I still think this guy needs to exercise some tact when he speaks.

Nobody would have cared if it was a clean battle. Can we talk about something else, may I suggest the grid girls?? I know inreb would approve of that topic.

Repsol talked about leaving GP a year ago, and they are still sour Rossi left them years ago. Spanish sponsor whinning about their little twit of a rider MM. Even JL said MM was a nutter before he got into MotoGP having watched his Moto2 shenanigans .

These lame threats from sponsors make me laugh. It's the equivalent of an aggressive finger wag.

Whenever sponsors bluster like this, they never leave.

Sponsors usually just leave when they feel it is not benefiting them. There are no threats. They are just trying to force Dorna into doing something by bluffing.

I kinda wish Rossi tells Repsol to stuff it.

if repsol left there would be 5 energy drink compabies throwing money at honda to take their place

Did you see when the Repsol team member jammed a red bull in Dani's hand during the interview haha
I'm pretty sure it was a Cheetah

Red Bull and he already had a Red Bull drink bottle in his hand.

Watching the helo shot, seems Rossi was right....from what I can tell.

I don't have a problem with anyone racing against anyone else at any point in the championship, whether they have a stake in the championship or not.

What I object to is a racer compromising his race to obstruct another rider when they have no stake in the outcome. That makes it a personal vendetta and spoils the purity of the racing that we all expect to witness.

So to answer your specific example, it would depend on whether Marquez had compromised his speed once he started to tangle with Rossi. That's why the graphs I put together are so important to me; they tell the truth about a rider's real potential versus their actual speed, so I can tell if they're purposefully sandbagging or not.

That's why I asked you to provide an example of a race you think went down the same, and I'll graph it and show you that there was no sudden drop in performance by anyone. (This is all apart from the video evidence, like Marquez going so slow he was passed in turn 7 where no one ever passes, even in Moto3, and many other obvious signs of sandbagging).

Rossi made a mistake. But still, he was right on the money. Does that make sense? He was wrong. But he was right.

Marc Marquez has a lot of growing up to do.

Worst crop of grid girls this season unfortunately.

Just watched Hitting The Apex - great flick and thanks a lot for providing it.

Question - is there any info/vids on what these guys do to train outside of motorcycles - like nutrition, exercise regimen etc?

sorry I've been married for years, but 99% of the grid girls exceed my expectations. I'd buy any one of them drinks, repeatedly.
