MotoGP 2015

Lorenzo deserves to be booed then. He's got some issues of his own.
Favourite riding style out of all the aliens. I admire his mentality when it comes to the other riders, and admire his less than PC comments. But I still think this guy needs to exercise some tact when he speaks.

Interest views on other Motogp riders

Atleast we agree on something

PS posted that link already.. haha.. love Brookies last comment.

“I think we need to focus on the real crime here. Why was VR a gentleman for so long? He should have grassed him a lot earlier.”

Spies was pretty good too..

“And yes I agree @marcmarquez93 should have been penalized for today as well. If people can’t understand that @marcmarquez93 was faster at PL and Sepang than @ValeYellow46, they’re crazy!”
Keep in mind Spies and Lorenzo got on pretty well, so no bias as I see it

What I take away from that whole article is the guys currently in GP are doing their best to remain as PC as possible while most of the guys outside (forgetting Stoner and his hard on for Rossi) are seeing through Marquez's silly smile.

Oh I stole it from the Webz... share away.

Also, not sure if this is true or not but here it is

Videos are hilarious, people need to calm the hell down

Hey you never know. These manufacturer's are selling a brand after all. JL wants to go left as the team goes right, could be a problem going forward. But in reality I suspect this is baseless. But for fun, Lorenzo to Honda as a wedding gift for him and MM, and Iannone to Yahmaha... haha.. I'm cool with that lol

That's why I asked you to provide an example of a race you think went down the same, and I'll graph it and show you that there was no sudden drop in performance by anyone. (This is all apart from the video evidence, like Marquez going so slow he was passed in turn 7 where no one ever passes, even in Moto3, and many other obvious signs of sandbagging).

I can't think of any at the moment. This whole sandbagging thing only came to light about a week and a half ago. You did mention you studied 5 races and 3 of them you feel were manufactured. You mentioned Qatar, PI, and what was the last one?

I'm still not entirely convinced that Marquez was sandbagging in Sepang. I watched the race again and lap 3 is where all the overtaking happens. There seems to be a good bunch of people on the interwebz that firmly believe Marquez "let" Lorenzo pass but I still think he made a mistake. Lorenzo had the quickest pace out of all 4 riders when he caught Marquez and was about 6 tenths faster than Rossi. At this point how would Marquez have known Rossi was behind him? It could've been a Ducati, a Suzuki etc. Then at the end of the same lap at the final corner, Marquez seems to make another mistake and Rossi nearly passes him. This is why this whole Marquez is letting Lorenzo go and slowing down Rossi business is bs (for this race is anyway). Perhaps at this race, Lorenzo had the pace similar to Dani, and the two battling it out at 3rd had similar pace. As soon as Rossi passes, Mr. i'm-going-to-prove-a-point Marquez goes right at Rossi.

I'm afraid with this whole sandbagging theory that alot of races moving forward will be filled with conspiracies. This will just give more ammo to the nonsensical fans and will gladly discredit their non favourite rider.

I use the "Analysis" PDF available for each race here: http://www.motogp.com/en/Results+Statistics

I use this all the time. It's fantastic resource.

Really really simple. Pay attention to any of the races, be it Moto 3, Moto 2 or GP - they have this amazing technology called a pit board.
Other than that, I can tell the difference in bikes when I'm at the track and somebody is close on my butt - a regular i4 sounds different than the yamaha cross plane crank, which is different from a v-twin, which is different from a triple etc. Each bike has a different sound to it, and I'm sure that the riders at this level can tell what's (but not who is) behind them simply by listening.

Failing that, MM93 could catch a glimpse out the corner of his eye in the previous set of twisties or failing that maybe the sun cast fish lips shadow on the rumble strips.

Pit board would have said Lorenzo if you paid special attention yourself. Jorge passed Valentino the lap before and please, no need for the condescending comments.

I do appreciate the effort and obvious skills that fastar1 has put into graphing that stuff, but I cannot agree with the potential of sandbagging by Dovi at Qatar. Like, that guy would do anything to win a race.

I don't know man. I watched that pass a few times last night and the the one thing that I can't get over is how MM's bike wasn't bucking and bouncing the rear like it normally does when he's in to hot. As for how he'd know Rossi was behind him after Lorenzo passed, well I would guess he made the assumption based on what his pit board said after the first lap, which was Rossi +whatever, then next lap Lorenzo... I think it'd be safe to say he could easily assume 'Lorenzo passed Rossi and once he passes me, I'll see what Vale does' ...unreasonable?

Any-who - In non MM/JL and VR related news.

Stoner is coming back

Who's that? haha

Fair enough.

I would be more of a believer on this whole sandbagging thing if it were 2014 though, where Marquez was decimating the entire field every race. This year, he doesn't have that same luxury to play around with his pace as it's a level playing field now.

Mike Webb says MM was sandbagging, you're still not convinced.

Kepler says the earth revolves around the sun, you're still not convinced.
