I block MotoGP.com in my facebook the day before, but sometimes friends click "like" on one of their posts and it's all for not, so now I'm a freakin hermit the day of!! Imagine trying to edit the videos without seeing the results!!! So hard, lol :(

thx for the heads up. i've been going to the last page for the links. why isn't anyone discussing the race(s) with details? always thought it was out of consideration for those who hadnt yet watched the race.

hahaha, awesome! I'll have to steal this graphic and add it to the beginning of the thread to explain what to do on race days! Only thing I would add is to highlight the "56" as not to click, as that's how I usually get to the end of a thread :)

Because like yourself, some people just go to the last page or the one before to check for links, so people don't want to spoil it for them. We usually wait a day, then we can have an all out discussion.

Awesome race. Filled with so many highs and lows. Interesting podium for sure. It was one of those races where you could crash on lap 6 and still make the podium lol good ride. Moto3 the best as usual. Moto2 zarco running away with it. F1 could learn a lot from motogp in terms of excitement.
 
I understand what Rossi was trying to do but his strategy could have backfired fiercely had Lorenzo not crashed out. Personally, I think he came in 2 laps too late.

His strategy IMO was quite clever, he knew he didn't have Lorenzo's pace on slicks, so he stayed out as long as he could in order to continue to get away from Lorenzo tents of seconds at the time so he had a good advantage for when he went back to slicks.... remember he only cares about Lorenzo, everyone else does not matter.

His strategy also obligated Lorenzo to try and make up that time with a real quick first lap on slicks with a still damp track and you saw what happened.

You could see VR look at the screens, times etc while riding on the rain tires during those final laps, calculated.
