MotoGP 2012

As for Stoner, I don't find him boring at all. He's doing so many things to wrestle the bike around the track. It isn't his fault that he doesn't have a lot of epic battles with people.

Perhaps he should slow down and wait for them?

He is one of those sportsman who has the stats without the swag...Like Klitschko,GSP or the Spurs..
Unlike Simoncelli,Tyson or Jordan.

So, he's not a show boating attention w****. I like that.

He is a whiner though, thats what bugs me with Stoner, Pedrosa, and Lorenzo. When they were bitching and trying to get marco banned i lost a lot of respect for them, and then casey moaner crying about Rossi.

Might have save his life. It was the same mule headed attitute that posed a risk to them.

Are no off-track antics ever warranted, because they reduce our level of entertainment?

If pedrosa stayes unbroken this year which seems to be rare thing in the past 4 years it might be pretty exciting!! Lorenzo seems to have gotten pretty close to stoners pace with that last weekend of testing. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him run away with it again

If pedrosa stays out of jail........

Funny how people whine constantly about Stoner being a whiner .... yet Rossi could do no wrong (because when he does it people call it "mind games" ... LOL, whatever.

At least one guy in the paddock says it as it is and that's why his interviews are and will always be the best (nobody will tell you more technical bits than this guy). I don't mind Ben, but perhaps he's trying to be always too much politically correct (he's still very new so I get it), like Hayden as of late (he needs to keep his seat badly).

I don't think he's a whiner, I think he's an immature brat.

Waits for Rossi to come around again, to give him a mock clap for taking him out earlier

Seriously? Grow the F up, Casey...

Finally, the season is almost here! :D

My goal this season is to follow all the races. Last year I got too caught up in watching all of the practice, quali, and race sessions in order, that I got behind in the actual races.

If someone took Rossi out (with all the silly stuff after the crash), you are telling me he wouldn't be acting in a same fashion?? or anyone else for that matter. Again, you are making it look like Stoner's thing while it is certainly not. Please.

I think Stoner's growing up is just fine. I'd be ****** if he changes one bid. Keep it raw.

Jerez 2006. Toni Elias.

Read up on Rossi's reaction on the crash that arguably cost him the 2006 Championship later on in the year.

There have been several more times that riders have taken Rossi out. He has never clambered back on the track to "mock-clap" the offender or make snarky remarks after the race. It's always, "This is racing and these things happen."

This is what true sportsmanship is.

I'm guessing you haven't watched many years of motogp if you have never seen Rossi taken out?

Stoner and "sportsman" are two words that should never be used in the same sentence.

Maybe Stoner and "twat"...

I agree with this. For a rider that can ride one of the fastest bikes in the world at a pace faster then any human, Stoner should'nt let the pressure get to him, or the head games. These guys all try and break eachothers spirits to try and get the upper hand but he should know better after all his accomplishments.
Rossi's had his share of bad-luck too, but he appears (at least in public) to have a "laugh it off" approach and stay positive. The whole thing where they were bullying Simoncelli was sad really considering the ones complaining all had factory bikes/team and all the support, meanwhile pushing around the underdog. At one point Marco would hesitate to make any pass whatsoever to avoid ridicule. Close passes, block passes, taking a riders line and all that happen in racing, and all the riders complaining were guilty of it as well.

Stoner, while being fast has a long way to go to accomplish what Rossi has done to date. End of story.

I don't think anyone with a shred of common sense would imply that Stoner has taken away Rossi's GOAT status. As for who is the best rider on the grid right now, it's Stoner, hands down.

1998 Argentina Qualifying Rossi kicked another rider for slowing him down on his fast lap. They've all had their moments.
