MotoGP 2012

Actually, you're right. I remember Rossi gave Biaggi the finger after passing him the lap after Biaggi tried to elbow him off the track at Suzuka.

Does anybody actually believe that if they met these guys in person, they'd be just like what you make them out to be here?

Racers a prima donnas?

That's something new to you guys?

LOL

Personally, I can't think of many champion racers that aren't.

This season should be another Stoner season. I don't count Lorenzo out as the "red 5" nor do I think there won't be any competition from Mr. Glass but I don't think anyone has the ride to give them the edge over Honda.

Not yet anyway.

Rossi knew the Duc would be slow and he is doing whatever he can to win but they need to find an edge just like every other team.

Just hope it will be a better season for actual racing. The drama is somewhat entertaining but good on track battles and close finishes beat politi-drama any day.

Fingers crossed.

I don't think anyone with a shred of common sense would imply that Stoner has taken away Rossi's GOAT status. As for who is the best rider on the grid right now, it's Stoner, hands down.

It's funny you mentioned that. I guess Stoner dosen't have a shred of common sense by saying things like, " your ambition outweighed your talent" to Rossi's face while being filmed.

That was hilarious and Rossi deserved it. He had no chance of making that corner.

I don't know what Casey was thinking at the time but it's my opinion that if you allow yourself to think that someone is better than you, they've already beaten you.

Hah! that was a good race - Rossi & Biaggi ended up throwing a few punches at each other on the way up to the podium too..

I don't think Stoner is a whiner. He is just playing the game like any other rider that is contending for the championship. It often seems to me that the only guy out there who is just having fun with it all is Edwards. He's a good rider and often seems happy regardless of the events. I really appreciate his spirit.

Is moto GP televised on cable? If so what stations carry it? Thx

On speed channel, at 2pm is moto2 and at 3 is MotoGP, not sure of times but it is either what I said or an hr later.

MotoGP World Championship The world’s best riders compete around the globe on high tech 800cc prototypes designed and built by the top engineers that Ducati, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki have to offer, each capable of speeds well in excess of 200mph and boasting acceleration unrivaled in any other form of roadracing, two or four wheeled.
lol, speed channel really needs to update their website with recent information

No wonder they don't show any of the qualifiers or training sessions, they don't have a clue

I actually prefer to download the BBC coverage of the races. The quality of the video and the reporting on the grid prior to the race is excellent. The show is typically 90 minutes long since they provide so much more covereage.

The BBC has excellent pre-race coverage but the Eurosport commentary is better.

Stoner is such a sore loser, he lost "because of his shoulder" not because someone else was better

A real sportsman would shut up about it, congratulate the winner and move on to the next race
