my girlfriends team lost 4-1, maybe they could use the other team. :P

note: my girlfriend got her first assist ever (2nd time playing) with a beautiful pass from behind the net that got wacked in. i know most of you wouldnt care, but im super proud. :)

2nd game EVER... already on the scoresheet...not bad at all.

ps... ya the leafs are really really really crap. like really crap. i hate them sooooooooo much.

McCabe wtf? He even tried to score in his own net at the end of the third period.
 
They just stinked today.

raycroft was phenominal, antropov was outstanding, and sundin was sundin... not to mention great defense by Hal Gill

Oh yeah he scored in O.T but he almost ended the game for the leafs in the third period firing the puck across the crease.

they didnt stink

Leafs have played some quality teams this past week, all of them are expected to go deep into the playoffs. Playing Florida and Chicago in upcoming games should see the leafs gets some W's in the win column.....waiting for the real Antropov to suit up this year, someone else is wearing his jersey this year.
 
I'm going to start practicing my slap shot to the leafs will sign ME for 5 million............McCabe is a ****in donkey
 
Street value of McCabe right now is two broken hockey sticks and some tape. His salary as is Kubina's is far too much for most teams to pick up. he's not going anywhere for a while.
 
Thats the secret, keep McCabe from playing and the leafs do well. Alot better performance last night

Sadly, our "hero" McCabe has a no trade clause in his fat contract. He also enjoys a "no movement" clause, which means that he can't be made to play left wing in the minors (not that he could succeed at that either).

I have long believed that the cancer in the organization is the teacher's pension fund. If we had a businessman owner that wanted to win, the results would improve. Further, if the Leafs played to a half-filled building, there would be a greater impetus to win, or at least make a concerted effort. For improvement to occur, the fans have to vote with their dollar bills.

'Tho I'm sure this has been broached somewhere earlier in this thread.

Go Beafs...just get rid of Tucker, Sundin and McCabe...then we will have a real team!

I agree, Tucker can't do up his laces without breaking a finger, Sundin is awesome when he puts forth a full effort all game and McCabe is McCabe. Oh well...
