Hondacephalitis?

Don't get me wrong - I have a love / hate thing for all cars, but could you imagine if GM started selling cars equipped with BB10's as standard equipment?
I can feel Sunny's pain:

lol...You're grasping Sunny. The rear end on my '70 Datsun 510 looked more similar to the Prelude (Datsun's calling).
The '14 Camaro you posted is a throwback to the '67 (and you know Honda would never call):

Look at the 2014 camaro trunk lid compared to the prelude. Identical!

I bet they even share the same part number from the Honda catalog.

The lines are there, but that applies to 40% of any other car. The look is def not the same.
There's even a bit of '59 Chevy rear end (sans fins) in that '14 Camaro.
You should buy one. ;)

Have u seen the new Ford fusion & compare it to an Aston Martin? I'm surprised they're not sued yet.

I thought only the Chinese hijacks other people's ideas

Sent from my Phone, dont judge the grammar

Ford owns Aston Martin

Ford owns Aston Martin

Bad move there. They're gonna tarnish the Aston brand. Nobody wants a high end car looking like an econo-box

It's working the other way around so far. Similar yet enough to keep them out of trouble

That's a good way to ruin the image of a supercar.

The Aston was one of my dream car, now its completely ruined

There's still no comparing the two. Aston's v8 Vantage will always be my #3 must have car. Oh and to keep this related to the first post, the new ferr/vipe/crapvette is hideous as is the new merced/cadillac. GM should really learn how to make their own designs.

Ford owns Aston Martin

I dont think they still own them any more, or at least not a majority. When the auto industry went bust think ford sold off it share in the majority of car companies they owned, like jaguar, ranger rover, land rover and volvo.

You're mostly right. I think there's still a little Volvo connection. (Oakville assembly employees have 2 parking lots - one for Fords, and the other for anything else. Mazdas & Volvos are still allowed in the Ford section).
When Ford sold off their stakes in A/Martin etc, they wound up with several "top notch" design engineers.
By '15 - '16, F150 will probably look like a bloated Maserati.

Everyone copies or they get ideas from other manufacturers, it just happens that the econoboxes want to look more like sports cars!

0-60 in 3.7 seconds. 700+ hp.

Pretty friggin awesome, right down to the colour. But 2.8 sec is the magic number to 60 for a full electric car. At that rate, the car won't need friction brakes any more because it will be able to stop as fast as a conventional car, by using the electric motors alone. Would love to see that thing pace the F1 grid!

very cool concept with the multiple engines

F1 has been and always will be from a standing start. There is no pace car. And you'll never see a roadster as the F1 safety car as it has no room for all the safety gear and com equipment it carries on board.
