Re: Is HTA 172 really THAT unsuccessful?

You'd be wrong. Most cops will lie and maybe half of them enjoy being violent. It's not even just my opinion, my HR friend has so many "bad cop" stories from his work in the force that I can't keep up. The number of complaints coming in about police misconduct are epic.

Number of complaints..or number of valid complaints? You'd be surprised what the difference is between the two.

An awful lot of them are valid. Some of them are not valid UNDER THE LAW but under moral code, they are.

What I mean is that people in authority tend to attract complaints against them from members of the public who haven't really been "wronged" except in their heads. Happens maliciously an awful lot too.

You seem to paint the police as a dark paramilitary force all the time and that's your point of view, my point of view is that I've had nothing but pleasant, professional dealings with them.

And I'm saying it isn't just my opinion. You couldn't be more wrong. They are most definitely not good people and you should most definitely not trust the police.

In case it's not obvious, those are housewives protesting; cops knocked one of them down that was smartmouthing them, dislocated her leg and arrested her, whilst pepper-spraying anyone that protested her treatment. Happened this week, for timeliness' sake. Personally, I couldn't have stopped myself from rushing the bastards if I'd been there.

That's your pleasant and professional, right there.

Cops have the same "right" to baselessly charge anyone with anything at any time. You and I can do the exact same thing, and file it under the court system, and the defendant has to spend the time to defend against the claim. People in general have better things to do with their time, while it is the sole job of the police to lay charges. They'll look like retards (to society, to their superiors, to the news, etc) if they do so 100% baselessly, so obviously they lay them when there's SOME chance of a conviction. The problem is that people automatically assume that if you're not following the letter of the law 100%, you're some kind of criminal, and there's no excuse for your actions, ergo you must be punished now!!!111omg

When you see a guy pulled over, what goes through your mind? "****, probably caught speeding" <-- ? Me, I think "****, he was probably doing what 95-99%% of people do every single day and there was a cop around to give him a hard time about it because he happened to be there.

Cops are my friends.

Seriously.

Wreckless Pork

I just thought I would share a story with you guys.

Yesterday me and my buddy Hood were heading to Twynn Rivers. On the way there we approached an intersection, we were about 200-300 feet away. A police car was heading in the same direction about 30 feet away from the intersection (red light). There was a van making a left (so coming left to go opposite that the cop and us were heading).

The van came around the corner, at the same time the pork flipped an illegal U-turn (NO LIGHTS AND NO SIRENS). The van was run off the road and came within 2 feet or less of a electrical poll. Luckily the driver managed to get the vehicle relatively safely back on the road.

I saw this and immediately threw my hands up at the cop (WTF motion). The cop, who had looked back and watched this happen sped off. I told Hood to stay by the van as I spun around to catch up with the cop and get the car number. In the time it took me to spin around and crest the hill the cop was gone.

Unfortunately nothing will be done about this, I am just happy that the occupants of the vehicle (including two young children) are safe and uninjured. I relay this to you so that you are aware of the possible dangers that these degenerate cops will put you and your familys in. If you ever witness something like this please make an attempt to get some form of ID on the cop.

Re: Wreckless Pork

Come on man.. you live in Ontario.. where the cops are above the law!

Tell me about it man!

**sidetrack, I have been watching videos of the G20, It is scary what the police get away with. This is why we need to do something about it and hold them responsible for their actions

Re: Wreckless Pork

here you are generalizing all police officers and prob a few days ago you were bitching about how cops pick on bikers. like everything in life there are good cops and bad cops. just like good riders and bad riders that cant catch up to a cop car with a motorcycle:lmao:

Wow, thank god you didn't injure your vagina.......

When exactly did I generalize against all cops? The point of my message is that they MUST be held accountable for their actions. As for your cunty lil comment about being a bad rider because I didnt make a U-turn in oncoming traffic... I would love to see you attempt that. Anyways the point is that I am encouraging y'all to take action when you can. I really dont understand the hostility towards me for saying this!

Probably talking on his cell for 'Official police business'

HAHAHAH most likely! There was a Tims down the road, the cop may have been speeding towards it! Or maybe thats the reason for the illegal U-turn in the first place!

Re: Wreckless Pork

I've drastically reduced my complaints about fellow drivers because I began to realize that the police are leading by example.

If it was you in the Van and your family was almost run off the road by the careless actions of a police officer I'm sure you would be singing a different tune.

I don't see the OP whinning at all it seems to me if you read his post he is encouraging people to hold police accountable for their actions when they almost cause harm to innocent civilians. Nothing wrong with that at all.

To the OP too bad you didn't get the car number. Did you call it in anyway? I'm sure they know who the officer is based on the location of the officer when the call came in (that caused him to pull a u-turn).

maybe he was pi$$ed cause they got his order wrong:lmao:

Re: Wreckless Pork

If this story is in fact 100% accurate, then sure it was a silly turn by the copper.

However, I feel for the poor bastards. You guys have no idea the nonsense/BS that they have to deal with on a daily basis. These guys are held far more accountable for their actions than the criminals they charge.

Re: Wreckless Pork

Poor bastards? Wrong choice of wording there... they make way more than they should.
