Get pushy with a cop during a stop and you will get curb stomped.
I'm not sure if inspection of residence is among the "special terms" that can be imposed upon parole, but the original sentence can be reinstated. So if someone was convicted of a charge resulting in a ten year sentence, but released on probation after 6 years, they can have their probation revoked and be made to serve the last 4 years of their original sentence.Another justice system failure. Pill mill in Richmond Hill operated by someone out on bail and probation. IIRC, in the US, probation subjects you to inspection at any time for any reason. I have no idea if Canada has something similar. This wasn't an overnight operation.

Probation plus bail means that this is at least their second arrest with charges after they were granted probation (and obviously no search of residence after first arrest). Unfortunately, revocation of bail seems to be a very rare thing, which is why I didn't mention it. Given that some people the courts now deal with are career criminals, who are constantly in and out of jail, revocation of bail should become a more common thing.Probation plus bail means that this is at least their second arrest with charges after they were granted probation (and obviously no search of residence after first arrest). Alternatively, especially if you are on probation, bail should be reverse onus. You've been convicted recently and now managed to get the attention of police again and they believe they have enough evidence to charge you. That shows you still make bad choices. Arrest while on bail/probation should trigger an automatic search of residence/vehicle.Unfortunately, revocation of bail seems to be a very rare thing, which is why I didn't mention it. Dystopia? Why should a cop risk getting injured or killed when the punk is back on the streets in hours?Probation plus bail means that this is at least their second arrest with charges after they were granted probation (and obviously no search of residence after first arrest). Catch and release.
Given that they had more than 34,000 pills, the "victims" are likely many auto/home/commercial policies that pay for the smash and grabs conducted to buy the pills. A few degrees of separation from the factory. $1M street value probably means 10M to 100M in damage caused to raise that money. For the victim, just install more security devices and increase your insurance coverage. How does that affect inflation?
I occasionally fix cottage stuff. A doctor with a physio clinic asked if I had a health plan. I told him it was through my wife's job. He wanted to pay me with fake receipts for physio so my wife's insurer would pay for his cottage fix up.Given that they had more than 34,000 pills, the "victims" are likely many auto/home/commercial policies that pay for the smash and grabs conducted to buy the pills. That would be counter to the law. You are considered innocent till convicted, automatically going to reverse onus says you are assuming guilt on the first charge.bail should be reverse onus
I was more thinking as a probation condition. If you managed to get a criminal charge while on probation, you probably shouldn't be out in public. Sure, you may get off, but you knew you needed to be on your best behaviour and still managed to attract attention. Time in the penalty box seems warranted (as well as close scrutiny of your life to ensure that you are actually complying with your conditions). That would be counter to the law. What we DO have is a "show cause" hearing, where the crown puts forth the case that reverse onus should be applied... basically a new bail hearing on all charges.
I love this cop's videos. He is so cool.I was more thinking as a probation condition. If you managed to get a criminal charge while on probation, you probably shouldn't be out in public. Was said doctor in either Mississauga or Brampton? My insurer sent out a list of clinics that they would not reimburse for, a couple of years back, that were all in those two areas.I occasionally fix cottage stuff. I don't deal with scumballs.
We talked bit on the phone and met at the Shell gas station Mississauga Road / QEW years ago. If I had anything except he said / I said, I would have reported him.Was said doctor in either Mississauga or Brampton? That would be a challenge. Suing him for unpaid repairs in a joint fraud scam. Was said doctor in either Mississauga or Brampton? My insurer sent out a list of clinics that they would not reimburse for, a couple of years back, that were all in those two areas.

Yes, I do tend to cross up those two terms.I think you're confusing parole with probation.
You wouldn't be released on probation after serving 6 years of a 10 year sentence.
