I'm not sure if I have any connection there, but it's still good to get stuff for free! I think he just had no way to charge it and didn't want to bother, so just said here ya go. haha...

It was a whole lot different. The 125 is very small and flickable. Larger bikes are simply heavier and less agile.
The 125's were pretty painful down the back stretches (took forever to get anywhere even at wide open throttle - seems to be there alot during the day), but were heaps of fun in the tighter turns.

Just make sure you're hanging off the bike far enough when you start hitting higher speeds in corners - I caught my pegs a couple times before hanging off to where I should have been.

My bike is much heavier, but also feels a bit more stable. Maybe in 3-4 years when I buy a Diavel I'll throw Babs on the track if she's still around.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I'm definitely going to be doing the stage 1 next summer. I'm still a little iffy about tracking my R6.

once you do the racer5 program, you will spend all your time on Kijiji looking for a track bike.

i got a 2002 gsxr track bike with 750 forks(USD) and swing arm for $1700, a little beat up, but for $1700 i wasn't expecting a pearl.

I ride street from time to time after the track day, and i'd rather ride a 125 around the track than my 600 on the street.
 
Well lads...
Looks like I'll be joining you guys on the track in the spring!!!

Picked up a SV1000 today, fully track prepped. Will be taking delivery next Saturday!
Going to have to strip off a whack of stickers that I'm not overly fond of and have to give it a repaint over the winter.

Just have to pick up another set of stands now. Anyone have an extra pair they want to get rid of?

I finnish work at 1:15am on friday, and if we leave at say 6:30 leaves me with no sleep :(

let me know steve, i can get that trailer again!
 
I am heading to GBM on Thursday the 6th - anyone else going from here ?
 
Not me. No more GB until next year. My tires are nearly done and I won't be able to push it without crashing there.

Just called and she said I have to do it online... ? That's new...
 
I'm leaving my Monday open for chill out day since my weekend would otherwise be packed. Also I think my Erion system (for the 929) is at the post office today so Monday may be installation day ;)
 
In lodon on Monday for thanksgiving dinner at the in laws, so no can do.

Most of my bike stuff is packed away anyways for the move.
