Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

I just finished putting my bike back together after installed the new clutch, shift star and detent arm. This time I remembered to fold over the lock washer on the clutch hub nut. Last time I remembered half way through a big ride! Had to open it all the way up to do a 10 second fix, annoying!

Finally had my first track day yesterday! LOVED it !!! Time to look for a track bike... and trailer... and suit... Hopefully I can join you guys for a track day sometime this year :)

Tim - hope you are better for Shannonville on the 18th ! Long drive though... I think I will do Grand Bend next.

Welcome to the sickness!
Glad you had tons of fun and enjoyed yourself.
Did you rent your suit or borrow one for your track day, or do you have your own 2 piece zip-together?

Yeah, Shannonville is a long ways, but it will be a blast... Have fun at Grand Bend!!! Going to take your street bike and tape it all up or see about buying a bike beforehand?

On a side note - SpyRadar has indicated he'd like to come to Shannonville on the 18th as well.
I can take him as needed, as he's willing to rent a trailer.

Yes get the r6 awesome deal for what it is. Lots of extras too.

Speaking of awesome deals, you going to let everyone know the killer deal you got??? I'm sooo jealous...
You'll need a full cube truck to get all the spares home...

Perfect just trade me even track SV (never been down, just driven to church on Sunday) for street GSXR. I am not even looking for any extra money :). Then you dont have to worry about getting her scratched up.

And for anyone interested...
Saw my doc today.
Not doing anything for the huge fluid build up on my knee... sucks..
Lump on my shoulder is probably permanent due to bone not lining up 100% when it started the granular healing process (rough bonds first, followed by smoothing and strengthening). May drop a bit later as the healing progresses, but is unlikely. Muscles will have to stretch, regrow etc to compensate for new bone structure.

Sucks...

Dammmm you people with money! I'm jealous of all this track action ;)

Uh yeah... and exactly how much have you blown taking ladies to Collingwood and other assorted places? Renting crazy fancy cottages and other crap to impress them?

Then again, when you're that fugly you've got to do something to catch their attention... hehehe.. kidding.. I think... ;)

I will post the good deal after it goes through. I was always taught not to count my chickens... So I'm not lol you don't have to heal straight as long as you heal tim... Sucks that we can't have sv vs sv. Well maybe I'll track it one more time ... Just to finish the war of words from before lol. But it will be sweet to kick a litre bikes ass on a wee little 600 lol ;p

Oh and gsxr girl, I'll up scuba Steve's sv650 and offer up a sweet zx6 track bike ... Straight up trade for ur bike ... I may even give u some lessons ;) lol

In done impressing buddy. The rest is just how I roll. The cottage was cheaper than going away.

That crash has turned you into one bitter little man.

GSXR Girl, pay no attention to these poor offers. I have the best track bike for you. It's in great condition with all the trick parts, has "zero" transmission issues and pulls strong at any RPM. This is the best track bike offer you'll get, since even with "zero" transmission issues it's still the fastest track bike here. LOL Bazinga! ;)

lets go to mosport Dave, or long track... then we'll see ;)

OH just admit it... you're a slave to your skippy....
Makes you blow your money on silly things like women instead on bikes where it belongs... hehehehe....

This topic is boring. We should stick to track related banter.

On that note:

Tim will Tina be racing for you till you're better ;) oh ya I went there
