Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

And the docs have decided to do NOTHING...
Bombarded me with 3 separate sets of X-rays.. about 9 in total.

Specialist says there's an 85% chance it will heal OK...
I'm not happy about it - I'd prefer a 100%.
Specialist says that if he's rebuilding a broken shoulder, and that piece is loose like it is in mine, he'll just take it out and bin it... eesh... apparently it's too small to pin or work with easily.

That's brutal man. Nice bruises though.

That's crazy... so how the hell are you supposed to keep it immobile so it heals in the proper place?

No idea. Be relatively sedentary I guess... which is usually not me. Refereeing (ice and ball hockey), playing hockey, riding etc etc etc...

Oh well.. time for some boredom... maybe will give me some time to come up with a logo for the C.U.N.ext T.rackday logo.

That really sucks Tim.Ya gotta do your best to be still and let it heal. Can they put you in a sling that wraps your upper arm to your torso?
And while i'm here.Does anyone have a talent for applying vinyl numbers on bodywork?I suck at it,get really ****** off and always end up with wrinkles.

I can help you out with bodywork numbers... not a problem... get a heat gun and a credit card or similar device... a rubber cake mixer dohickey works too.

Are you working? I'm not.

Hey Dave...
Looks like Suzi will need some of your magic...
Fired her up, goes up through the gears easy enough, just going back to neutral (or down a gear at all really) is a no go...
When the body work's off we'll have to have a closer look I guess.

We do not talk about the weather at Shannonville any more. Just look at the forecast, smile, and keep you trap shut. haha

get the service manual, we can take her apart and get it back together to figure out whats wrong. Could be a fun project, you'll learn a lot. Doesn't look like its goign to get any more unbroken. In the mean time, you should slate the buell for track duty. To keep it on the track just ask them to put up those rails, like they do in bumper bowling for little kids. :)

Hey Dave - how'd you make out last night?

And yes - monday is going to be awesome!!

He brought the tires to his work in Newmarket so I saved 60km of driving, but didn't get to grab an extra rear for you, or rains for Randy. I wasn't on the ball enough. Should have planned it better and bought all of his tires...
