iPhone 5S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Updated my iPhone 4 that I bought in 2011 (released in 2010) to iOS 7 (Are there any android phones that shipped in 2011 or 2010 supported by google/maker/carrier for the latest android software?). I like it for the most part.

The new translucent look took a bit to get used to but for people that switched from mac osx 10.4 to 10.5 the effect was about the same. not really big on the animation for switching tasks or tabs in the browser but it brings it more in line with the look and feel of OSX.

I don't like the look of the unlock keyboard, but that's just a preference thing, it's functionally the same.

I'm loving the control center, the ability to have extra pages in folders, and the fact that i didn't have to buy a new phone to get new software features.

Must be the same type of people who buy Pontiac Sunfire and Chevy Cavalier. Same car. Different badge. Same crap.

Unbelievable. Just for a phone spray painted in Gold.

Wish I could be there to see the looks on people faces when they open the box, and/or stand in line for 3 days and then figure out the new phone is pretty much the same as the iPhone 5 they were using.

I still can't wrap my head around this, how do people stand in line for a few days & not get fired from their jobs?

iPhone 4S: 4 million units in first weekend.

iPhone 5: 5 million units.

iPhone 5s/5c: 9 MILLION.

Probably take a vacation/sickn day to be sure they're the first ones. Then they buy what they can and be happy with their new little toy. Or they buy a few and make out like bandits selling it to the other fools who can't wait a few weeks for a new batch to ship.

Samsung S4 took 27 days to reach 10 million shipments (not sales) into 60 countries.

Hmmmm, take a few vacation days to stand in line, just because I can't wait a week. Must be a hard decision

It makes them FEEL GOOD knowing they have the newest Apple product first (for a few days at least...lol)
Someone said it here or the other other thread...Apple customers buy based on feelings where as Android users tend to buy on function.

Fyi- I read somewhere that Apple does not use Gorilla Glass.

It's just a matter of time before the scales shift. Apple does not make components.
It's actually in Samsung's interest for Apple to exist because they buy Samsung components.

Samsung is providing the customer more options. This will be appealing.

pfft just wait until some celeb i.e. Kardashian says her Samsung is the best thing ever that's why she got rid of her iphone.

OR

They are smart and flipping the phone for an easy $700 - 800 profit on ebay.

Depends on what you define smart. Time is money, with that time I spend standing in line, I can be at work making $$. But who knows, if they don;t have a job, they can make $$

how did yo uupdate a 4 to ios 7? I thought you can only upgrade to ios7 from 4S and up

I'm glad to see the new iphones getting sales records. That means they are being innovative and the competition is forcing others to be innovative and apple in return.
