I'm giving away money

I already donate to charity and support other causes that benefit those organizations or similar ones. Again 300 is not the limit

Then give it to me and I'll throw it in as a donation to my ride for the Ride to Conquer Cancer for next year. It'll cut a nice chunk out of the $2500 I need to raise. My 5th year riding :)

According to his posts, he has donated to those large organizations already. He looking to donate in some other way.

I say, have a BBQ like what Aminal does. It would be good for the community and meet great people.

...or just donate it to Aminal, he has a BBQ every year and has been doing it for years. It would be nice to support what he is doing

I think he wants to make a direct impact on someone's life who is local. It's a good idea... sometimes you have to help locals because some of them easily get looked over by big organizations.

Send me your link when you need donations

There's a no-kill shelter here called the Burlington Humane Society (not to be confused with the Burlington SPCA). They do the Ruff Ride fundraiser every fall. Can't make it this year due to circumstances. How about sending the $300 to them?http://burlingtonhumane.ca/events/ruff-ride.html
Pledged 200 to this, also gonna give money to someone I heard about thru pm . Keep the ideas coming

Maybe you can check in the Fallen Riders section.

I am sure families or persons who have been in a bad accident might need it.

Just a thought

Nice! Thanks from me and the animals in the shelter, and hope your birthday was a good one. I have stopped having them myself. :D

i'll take it.

reason....... b/c i want it.

$300 is $300.
hahahahha.

Great to see good people doing good work. Cheers.

Go hang out at a Giant Tiger or Dollarama (maybe even Walmart). Keep an eye out for a mom with her kid(s) or for an elderly person. If you deem them to be in need, wait until they are checking out, walk up and pay for whatever they have. Smile and walk away.

upped the budget and have given out 2 gifts of 300 and the donations above

Nice. Must have been an exceptional Birthday.

I like spontaneous, creative, random and unconvential ways of helping others out. Occassionally, I discretely pay for someone's groceries. Just purchase a $50 or $100 gift card at the check out, hand it back to the cashier and ask them to give it to the next person in line when it's time to pay. The cashier could keep it or the person that receives it could be a millionaire for all I know? I just hope they appreciate it and if they don't need it, maybe they will consider paying it forward to somone that could benefit from it. I 'm a sucker for shoppers with young kids and especially during the holidays. I'm usually gone before they know what happenned.
