I'm giving away money

Well I could use the $$. Tomorrow ( Aug. 1st is my birthday.) I ride an RC51. That could be my gas money! lol That sucker is a pig on gas. When ya gotta drive 1.5 hrs each way to work without traffic... That's a lotta gas! :P

Let us know what you decide. My bday is coming on the 19th and I'm thinking of doing the same, but in not such a large amount. Prolly $100 for me for now. Maybe more in the future when I'm more capable.

Dude, you've seen me. $100 could buy me a mask!

Wow, I can't believe how many desperate people here...If you can afford to ride/insure a motorcycle, I don't think 300$ is going to effect your life in anyway. There are people out there that can't afford a day's worth of food, those are the ones that need it.I personally donate money to help feed the poor in Egypt, Coptic Orthodox specifically. 300$ is equivalent to 1500$ Egyptian pounds, which is enough to feed a family for a month or two. I am not going to suggest that you give me the money so I can send it overseas, but I really think that posting on here is useless. If you want to give and be happy that you've made a difference, you have to go directly to the source. Good luck with whatever decision you end up making, I just hope that nobody takes advantage of your goodwill.Peace!
It's not for someone on here necessarily as I said. Someone may know a person who needs assistance and I also said I'm not limiting it to 300 if it's needed

You could buy a bunch of toys, clothes etc. for kids of different age groups and donate to the children's aid society, there are tons of kids who get nothing for their bdays.

While I could use the money.... I would rather see it go towards somewhere like one of these places. What about putting it towards a well or school in africa... that $300 can go a LONG ways there. What about supporting doctors without borders or something. Use it to benefit a third world country.

There's a no-kill shelter here called the Burlington Humane Society (not to be confused with the Burlington SPCA). They do the Ruff Ride fundraiser every fall. Can't make it this year due to circumstances. How about sending the $300 to them?

I have a friend riding in the Rona MS Bike Tour 2011. He hasn't reached his fund raising goal.

And I love the idea... I should do the same for my birthday.

I already donate to charity and support other causes that benefit those organizations or similar ones. Again 300 is not the limit

It's my birthday tomorrow and I am very lucky to not need or want for anything so I thought as a way to pay back the universe I would give away a minimum of 300 or more to the person with the best story of why they need it or know someone who needs it.I already donate to charity all the time but if you want the money to go to charity that's fine too. Let's hear it.

I love riding and I need a new set of tires, give it to me
