Strippers, booze and drugs. Please pick me.
I'm fat and ugly.
I could use a gym membership and new bike to make me look cool.
He's offering $300, not $3,000 or $30,000... lol

Ok im getting Pm's but I would prefer people share with everyone unless obviously it's very personal. I'm flexible on the 300 too if there's an important issue or an emergencyHappy Birthday!! I'll pm you my story of why I could use $300.
I'd be surprised if anyone posting here could put the money to better use than a charity. Lots of people could use it but the people who really need it aren't on this forum.

Yes of course but they might know someone who needs it.I'd be surprised if anyone posting here could put the money to better use than a charity. Lots of people could use it but the people who really need it aren't on this forum.

On the last Sunday of each month we hold a potluck BBQ to feed the homeless and those in our neighbourhood (really low income). Today was our 3rd time doing it and through word of mouth and need, we had almost 4x the number of people show up today than at the end of June. It is advertised to begin at 11:15, a homeless family (Mom, Dad and 4 kids) were there at 9:15 looking to use the restrooms while they waited for the BBQ. Our crowds came so quick and early, we cancelled service and ended up just cooking and feeding for 2 hours (even ran out and had to head to a grocery store).
So my idea - clearly there is an organisation in the GTA that does something similar. Giving them part or all of your funds will make a huge difference. I don't know what today cost us (most of us bring something) but it was well over $300 - that I know. A donation like yours would help immensely.
Anybody know of a local place like this? I still want to impact an individual who needs it as well as a group like this. Looks like I'm upping the budget!I applaud what you are doing. Another suggestion based on what we are doing at our church. On the last Sunday of each month we hold a potluck BBQ to feed the homeless and those in our neighbourhood (really low income). I need the money to help pay off my CFA exam notes... they cost $1000...
use the interwebz like the rest of us.
