If it was insulated the the space required for the roll at the top would most likely negate the need for a space saving roll up door.

Regardless, I'm are pleasantly surprised at the price of this.

Son of a ….

Water dispenser tab snapped off on my fridge. Hoping this is a DIY issue and not a new appliance type of issue. Although I’ve survived without a water and ice dispenser on previous fridges…don’t want to go back to living like a pleb.

Throw the fridge model number into Google and you will find several sites with parts diagrams and parts for sale.
Some parts can even be bought on Amazon. There is also an applience parts store 10 min from you on Dundas and where the auto mall is.

The parts diagram should be able to identify if the broken part is replaceable on its own are as part of the dispensing assembly.

Whats the model number of the fridge?

I have never owned a fridge with a water dispenser, never saw they need We have very hard water where we live so a water softener and a R/O unit are a must for drinking water I keep the little tank thingy in the basement so the water is always nice and cool. Also are ice makers and water dispensers like one of the biggest issues for insurance claims? Pleb for Life!

Doesn't look to be too complex of a repair. 6 screws to get to it.

Same here. I'm also OK with manual crank windows in cars...though I can't remember when I last had them.

Mini has them. It's also small enough that it is easy to reach across and adjust the passenger window while driving. I doubt I will ever own another DD without them (not because I need power but manual is almost unavailable and power is convenient).

Interesting, I wonder how many passenger vehicles are available new with manual options (windows, mirrors etc.)
To be fair, I could easily live with most manual options in a vehicle, it is just I never see them so they are easily forgotten.

Ditto but the access to the rear windows can be nice if you want fresh air without the wind noise directly at your ear.

A lot of people still call an manual transmission a standard when now the standard transmission is 90% of the time an automatic.

I cannot stand rear windows only open. Every vehicle I have ever tried that in has crazy buffeting. Mini has no moveable rear windows.
