And it's not over. Just pushed aside for a bit. There are way to many idealistic morons that think wokeness is the way forward. If you don't worry about reality, finances or unintended outcomes it sounds almost reasonable. When you accept any of the above three, the movement comes to a screeching halt.
I guess we'll see. I expect to see woke at the bottom of a pile-on.

I'll bore myself with too much social theory and sound if I write out my perspective on Woke, it would look like a Jordan Peterson diatribe on genter pronouns - I promise I won't -- it just to boring a read for this forum.

Let's just say Bernie Saunders is a lot less Woke today than he was 4 years ago.

The courts can limit travel - he still has a lot of federal and state charges to face.
He is now immune, sitting Presidents now enjoy a lot of immunity and he behaved between stepping out and back into the breach - there isn't time to try or convict before he becomes Potus.

He can't escape NY as that's a state thing, and NY Governer Kathy Hochul is pretty far left and has zero love for Republicans, let alone Trump.

Re-read this part carefully:

(a) No person shall solicit votes in any manner or by any means or method, nor shall any person, other than election officials discharging their duties, distribute or display any campaign material, nor give, offer to give, or participate in the giving of any money or gifts, including, but not limited to, food and drink, to an elector, nor solicit signatures for any petition, nor establish or set up any tables or booths on any day in which ballots are being cast:

An election official is carved out - they can distribute things, setup tables and booths while they are currently discharging their duties (on duty). Off duty, no - but on duty they can certainly hand out a water bottle.

Exceeeppppttt ...

That's not what the law says.

That's how I hypothetically re-wrote what the law says, to what it SHOULD say, if the intent were to carve out election officials discharging their duties.

Here's the law: https://codes.findlaw.com/ga/title-21-elections/ga-code-sect-21-2-414/

Brian... you need to be more thorough. Here is the specific language from the Georgia Code Title 21. Elections § 21-2-414, Section E (verbatim)

(e) This Code section shall not be construed to prohibit a poll officer from distributing materials, as required by law, which are necessary for the purpose of instructing electors or from distributing materials prepared by the Secretary of State which are designed solely for the purpose of encouraging voter participation in the election being conducted or from making available self-service water from an unattended receptacle to an elector waiting in line to vote.

Some clickbait headline got you, a balanced headline might have said "Georgia Voters waiting in line must help themselves to self-serve water." Would the latter have caused you to click? Probably not, so probably no TikTock revenue for the influencer.

If you still want to split hairs by insisting having to stick one's hand into a cooler instead of someone serving you is voter suppression -- I'll concede.

Where is the line though? He is president-elect but not the sitting president for a few more months. I doubt they could pull off a shotgun trial in time so the distinction is probably for interest and has little practical implications this time.

That is unless the judge sentences him to prison for his existing convictions. That would be a pile of poo flung everywhere.

OK ... I see it now. Typical too-complicated laws.

Although this whole thing wouldn't even be a topic of discussion if there weren't lineups to vote...

Bernie is Da Bomb - I luv him !!!
You can't help but love Bernie.

I have followed him a lot, and I think he would have made a good president despite being a socialist. The difference is Bernie is more fiscally conservative than the hard left, he understands socialism is not sustainable without capitalism. Bernie believes reforming capitalism without horrendously bloating government (the Nordic model) can increase social programming.

Sadly he will always be a side show.

Or TikTok.

Indeed I was.
PP isn't opening the abortion debate, there's only a few fringe zealots looking to open the issue there's nothing in it for him

One of his right wing whacks to raise that issue last spring, PP shoved a speculum down the guy's throat in about 5 seconds.

I'm pretty sure the Ukraine isn't Trump's to surrender.
