I had to walk away for the 2nd time in two days as my boss is very, well say passionate, about politics. And if you don't see his way you're probably a moron.
Today's reason for a quick exit was once again "America just can't fathom a woman in office, if it were a man running he would have won". He can't see past her gender to see that there are other issues in play, so basically he's being sexist while calling others sexist for not voting Kamal.

Next time ask him; If that were true, then why did more women vote for Trump in 2024 than in 2016. Arguing with your boss about stuff like this seems pointless. If someone boils everything they don't agree with down to the 'isms', you will not change their mind. You just become an 'ist' in their mind.

It seems that some states, including California, take quite a while to count mailed ballots.
The issue with the tabulating machine not accepting the mailed-ballots count does not appear to have been widespread ... but it was not zero, either.
It's still good advice for people to check online whether their mailed-in ballot was counted or not, and question it if something appears amiss.
I’m sure that, however many times you count the California ballots, Trump won’t win there, and it will be an exercise in futility.
It is good though, that Democrats are now open to the idea that there are issues with their election systems.
You don’t need to be all-in to one side or the other of an issue.
That's the Democratic pundit view on national TV of why the election went that way.
Do they not get the memo? Donald got the popular vote. Calling the majority of moderates and independent voters racists and sexist will help to swing them back to you 4 years from now?
