Currently devouring a bunch of political pundits content discussing 'the establishment' in the Democratic party. They are all throwing the leadership under the bus and anyone saying 'white women lost us the election or black men going to trump lost us the election' is being shouted down consistently. A majority blame the leadership for sinking Bernie in favour of Biden in the hopes of some 25th amendment switcheroo in his second term to get Harris into the oval.

Entertaining is an understatement.

Trump's overall share of voters under 45 was up 2 percentage points from 2020 as was his share of women voters, Edison Research exit poll data show. Trump also increased his support in many suburban areas, where Democrats thought they had made inroads.

Although I preface this with a genuine query to see state by state female voting in relation to abortion laws; I will say if that doesn't throw cold water in the stance of women's rights being attacked by Trump I'm not sure what will.

From other threads ... Earlier in the day, people were wondering why there were such huge record-setting lines to vote, with 80 million early votes, and yet the total votes were less than 2020. Then individuals started checking their vote status online and discovered that, while it had been reported received earlier (often days before), there was now no record of it. There are now lots of such reports. Then this county discovered that they couldn't tally the mail-in ballots. Now it's suspected that there could be 20 million unaccounted-for mail-in ballots.

Not a difficult conspiracy to debunk. Rather than using X, Threads, for research -- try Google. Then do the grade 5 math using variables

Voter_turnout x voters = counted_votes.


2024: voter turnout 65%.
90% of votes are counted and reported at 8AM today, 140,688,000. Add in the remaining 10 % 14,468,000 for a total of 154,757,000

2020: Voter turnout 66%
155,507,000

No where close to 20 million missing votes - maybe TikTok has better answer.

I think it was Elon who was saying that the fact that he appeared on a few long-form podcasts was a big win...

Because you can't "hide behind a script" when you go beyond 45 minutes (which is what Kamala had agreed to for say Joe Rogan)

Oh well i guess you gotta hit different media types to win something this big.
