Did you exercise today?

If you are short on time try the stair climber or the assault bike for cardio. PSA both are killer!
I had an assault bike and hated it so I sold it.

Stair climber…I have lots of stairs.

Deciding on whether to keep the M7 Bowflex as something died so it still works, but won’t let it adjust the resistance so may not be worth anything.

Still looking for a lat pulldown setup that’ll fit in limited space, but a decision needs to be made for the $1,000 bow flex coat hanger.

Same here even using it like it was intended to be used for interval sessions i just couldn't get into it.
If the arms and legs weren't coupled together say they had separate load fans it would be a better workout.
Maybe audition a skierg mostly upper body and excellent for increasing cardio capacity.
 
Longer weights session yesterday
Skipped swimming so the wife could go shopping so this means i feel like $hit and have to do a lighter weight session today
 
Yup! Knocked out some quick sets this morning.

Now to go take apart this Bowflex M7 as it's annoying and hopefully it's an easy fix.
 
2 minutes 15 seconds twice daily for the past couple months.
Did not know about planking until then.
Having had 3 lumbar area discs removed 30+ yrs ago, this is hands down, the best thing I've found for low back ache/pain.
Wow!! I timed my count. I'm only doing a minute 10 seconds.

If it was in bare feet, try with shoes on.
I've read that anything over 2 minutes doesn't have much benefit.......not sure if true.
Also read that 15-30 seconds is enough at my age (69), but I've gone 2:15 since I started.
Yesterday.......I was going to try to reach my (unknown) limit......but I didn't.
My son goes 15 minutes, but he does 15 push ups at the top of each/every minute.
He's in good condition.

After doing it for bit I challenged my daughter (early 30s, into boxing) to a plank off. I beat her. Went past my normal time, maybe close to 2min.
Each morning I think "I should go to 200" but I just want to get it down, get the stationary done and move on with my day.
 
Playing 2 or 3 times a week from October to Spring
Ditto. For the past yr. Outside just wrapped up. That was too much fun. 110° in the shade, and the neighbour & I played heads up all summer. 2 or 3x a week.
Indoors now, 2hrs, once a week.
Went from a (being generous) 38" gut to 34" in a yr.
It's a great game.

if you want to add more of a challenge, contract ALL THE MUSCLES YOU CAN as hard as you can as you do it.

The roided plank. From shoulders to toes, you won't hold it as long but you'll feel it
