Did you exercise today?

Shoe covers don't have to be expensive and help a lot in cooler weather.
yeah tell me your size, got some from an auction, tried to sell em... theyre sitting in a drawer somewhere and theyre namebrand if anyone needs them

Yes, worked out today at lunch. But damn...I can't believe how hard it's becoming as I don't do it as regularly...

I did 3sets of 12x154lbs and I could barely lift the damn thing. I did it...but it was tougher than normal.

Old age...lack of discipline...

did a bunch of core and upper-mid back row thing workout

Still mildly suffering from the spartan, i didnt hurt at all the day after (other than normal soreness) but 2nd day onward my foot has been very very sad lol
wrote out my training plan ideas in words and asked chatgpt to create something in a table to make it easier to read at a glance... it did an okay job considering
but training for spartan + tri is gonna be pretty hard especially when im trying to front load some weight loss

but i dont know how im gonna keep up

Just started a new program MAPS Anabolic it's about 3 months long... 2 big workout days and optional 5 days of smaller/lighter sessions (2-3x 10 minutes) on the other days for the first 2 months and 3rd month adds a 3rd big workout day
We'll see how the body responds...i've become pretty weak lol

Anybody planking? My last core exercise each morning before getting on the stationary is full plank, held for a 150 count.

It was part of the exercises. My core is hella weak these days.
I guess all this planking is gonna help my swim form a lot!

2 minutes 15 seconds twice daily for the past couple months.
Did not know about planking until then.
Having had 3 lumbar area discs removed 30+ yrs ago, this is hands down, the best thing I've found for low back ache/pain.

I’ll have to give it a whirl. Done it on and off.

Need more core exercises. My gut is expanding stupidly fast and I’m finding that I’m getting lazier by the day.

I keep meaning to do my 150 count in front of a clock. I'm guessing just around one minute.

Did some light exercises yesterday before going swimming...
Light weights or bands
It was enough to activate the muscles and tire them a little but it had an unexpected (to me) effect where i was more aware of my body in the water and which muscles were activating. It might help me in the future to improve my swim form

Early morning ride and got caught in a shower halfway. Weatherman said rain in the next hour, and I believed it. At least I had a jacket but the rest of me was soaked! Great to have it this warm still in the morning though.

Yup. Feeling weak for some reason but wanted to get back into it slowly.

Dropped the weights, banged out some sets, and ready to start rebuilding the strength.

Had to run to catch the GO yesterday...holy hell I'm out of cardio shape...
