Did you exercise today?

consistency >>> intensity, keep at it!
Thanks. I'm not going to go stupid heavy any more...all it does is gets me injured.

Now just need to find a core and stretching program I can stick with...and it should be ok.

Also work on the diet.

This sounds hard...I'm going to have a cookie...

Solid core day today

Pulled a muscle during today's warmup stretching. It's fun getting old.
My body: oh you want to exercise? No thanks!
I find it best to do a slight warmup before stretching even. Get a little heat buildup by doing some lightweight stuff, and then stretch

Recommendations for a stretch routine? I’m very open to suggestions as I don’t feel like getting injured AGAIN when lifting.

Plan is to NOT go for PRs again. Get to a comfortable weight and then just pound out higher volumes instead of higher weight amounts.

I'll come by in person if you want, its tricky to explain over text on a forum, depends on what muscles you want to stretch, what problems/pains you're having.

Did some core work today, yesterday did some bicycling and weights as well

I've been doing 40 minutes on the treadmill everyday 20 minutes first thing in the morning and 20 minutes before bed so far down 5 lb in a week

Nice! Thinking of buying one of those walking pads to keep near the work table and just use it during the work day.

Tons of options out there.

in 1 week, thats pretty great!

Anyone use those walking pads before? I see tons of them for sale and the majority are weird names from Asia...

Blood pressure is down significantly as well hopefully it continues

You're one of the most chill people I know...surprised blood pressure is a concern.

Few of my friends (mid-early 40s) have major blood pressure issues...primarily because they have been drinking for the last 10-15 years on the regular.

Some will actually turn beet red at the first sip of alcohol.
