I'm trying to find a small lat pulldown machine if anyone knows. The type that you can put olympic plates on.

If anyone knows of one available please let me know...

Doesn't take a lot of space, and would complement the rest of my setup nicely.

Been flying to resorts over the last 5-7 years with every intention to hit the gym...I walked into the one this year...into the sauna....

Good on you for being able to get into a workout at a resort, I'm too weak willed.

your diet is more important than exercise, simply because you do it CONSTANTLY. there are no rest days from eating.

It’s the second most important thing apart from breathing.

I Don’t really have a choice, the health scare worked, pain and failure really are the best teachers.

Being out of shape means going back to hell, and that ain’t happening.

Well I’m very sorry to hear you had a health scare. But glad to see it’s helped you on a path to a healthier life! That’s most important!

Being pain free and having a life was the main reason, turns out there are a million other benefits to being in shape as well!

So... i did a thing...ran the Toronto Marathon's 10k (i never know how to call it...cause its certainly not a marathon but anyhow)...

I didn't train at all for it.

And im at one of my heaviest weights. But i did it. Hoping this will kickstart me back into getting into an endurance routine.
It's kinda messed up that this distance that used to be just a "training" distance is now so painful LOL

Here is a option if you are looking for new.

Was able to go for my 4.5km walk yesterday, which is shocking because the last 2 days I felt like someone stabbed me in the head with a knife and kept it in there...still do.

At first I just assumed it was a major hangover from Sat night...but never had it for a full 2 days after drinking.

Leg day yesterday followed by chainsawing 14 trees then wheelbarrow and stacking the wood. Chainsawing technique needs work as I tend to hunch while doing it which kills my back.
Skipping back/tri's this morning to finish taking down another 6 trees and cleaning up the leftover tops and branches from them all.

I've noticed since coming back, I look burlier, the only thing that seems to have changed is I lift a bit heavier and my diet is way more protein heavy, Im eating fish, calamari, pork etc etc (as opposed to living with a bunch of vegetarians and not having a heavy protein diet(Im not a vegetarian but the intake of protein has been more limited as compared to vacation on a tropical island))

10min into todays workout I was feeling a scrape behind my knee and figured it was from clearing trees yesterday. Bothered me enough that I twisted to look at it and found I picked up my first tick. 35min of my wife trying all the google tricks to get it out but in the end tweezers did the trick.

Ooof sorry to hear…I believe don’t ever pull it out directly…but twist it out.

But I know nothing…I think pulling it out risks leaving a part of the tick under the skin.

great core day today!

I find there are so many benefits, in addition to health benefits and looking good, its such a great tool.
Anytime I have bad vibes or negative energy or im upset about something, a good workout is such a great way to release all that.

Brings balance and some peace.
