Did you exercise today?

Until you are going up a big hill. Then you feel like an old man.
True at the beginning, and not to mention what felt like pieces of my lungs being snorted out.

It gets easier, now I look forward to the hills (well not really, but they are more fun in the summer).

Work is exercise. I get a chuckle out of people that pay others to mow their lawns and shovel snow while paying a gym for exercise.

If you 're retired and can lift 45 pounds there are places that will pay you $200 a day to exercise.

Granted, the wrong exercise can lead to RSI.

I exercised yesterday by chopping firewood. Today it hurts and the only exercise will be unscrewing a bottle lid and stirring liquids.
We have our lawn done by condo corp, but i still rake, aerate, overseed, re-landscape with rocks and stuff, etc. It just feels good
I usually have my entrance shovelled before they come around to do it

Did a bunch of cardio today(cycling)

I get the feeling its better to just continue at a steady pace with your workout rather than take breaks, otherwise it feels harder to start from 0 again.

100% it’s harder to restart. I was doing great for a while and then BAM my inner elbow started hurting and I couldn’t lift my youngest (<20lbs).

Had to stop for almost two months because I couldn’t lift anything and now I’m starting from zero again.

I don’t mind it because it’s a quick progression back up. But it is back from very low weights.

I typically add 10lbs (barbell work) or 5lbs (dumbbell work) each next day of the same exercise so bounce up quick up to a plateau and then lower the increase to 2.5lbs.

Thinking of getting a stationary bike but funds are tight right now so once things free up (and post exercise boom prices come down). I’ll snap one up.

I started with stomach muscles - lifted 15 potato&cheese pierogies today - feeling like a king. Slightly sore wrist from chopping onions, fried them with bacon as a warm up. Life is good. Cheers to all the skinny legends here.

still waiting on that perogi number @oioioi

So glad I have a pierogi factory in the house. Always tell the MIL she should start selling…

Goodbye diet. Wife brought the chips…
married to a mangiacake, apparently they buy chocolate for everything (easter, halloween, christmas, you name it)

Cant have that around me, threw most of it away.

You can be the gtam hookup. Keeps the mil busy and puts your kids through college.
I keep telling her that. She makes delicious pierogies, breads, cakes, and everything she touches.

Not sure about the legalities of it…but I’m sure she’d have some buyers.
