You can have people do 3 or 6 month stints just like on oil rigs . They somehow get people to do it . Money talks . Spending a few billion instead of 300 billion .
What oil rigs do 3 month stints? 21 days on and 14 off is the norm. Look at atlantic Canada, if people are not dumb the virus stays contained.

False, false, false.

Fact check ****. Honestly.

Wow. ******* wow.
I got this right from the main media . My bad . I thought the places were smarter then mixing people during outbreaks . I though they were smart locking the places up to avoid contamination . My bad again . Let's take chances and go visit .

It was an example . You can modify the times as needed for quarantine .

Or everyone can work for the good of everyone else. But thats not me, me, me, first enough for all the special flakes. Maybe there will be a world war soon and snowfakes can see what real sacrafice is.

Add another moron to the list. Let's see if Douggie is able to get this turd fired. Dec 18 - Jan 5 in DR, then 14 days of isolation. We are definitely not getting our moneys worth out of him. That is 32 consecutive days where he cannot possibly set foot in the office at $1,726 a day ($55,000 comp during this period).

From the sunshine list

An Ontario hospital CEO who serves on the province’s COVID-19 science table has been booted from his advisory role after it was revealed that he vacationed in the Dominican Republic as Ontario went into a province-wide lockdown over the holidays.

In a statement Tuesday evening, St. Joseph’s Health System confirmed that its CEO, Dr. Tom Stewart, was out of the country on vacation from Dec. 18 - Jan.5.

Stewart is also President and CEO of Niagara Health.

That was quick...lol

I'd like to see the prick fired from the $600K job running hospitals. Maybe feeling like a restaurant employee is fitting.

I dont understand why he didnt resign / get fired from the Hospital - it is public sector, no?
Absolutely he should be axed! And, if they can find a way, for cause! He's the front man for the Niagara Health System. That should carry a responsibility to conduct one's self in an appropriate and professional manner. How is sunning your buns in the DR for 3 weeks then another two lounging at home quarantining appropriate when healthcare workers are being worked to the point of exhaustion.
The combination of self-serving decision making and lack of common sense that's being displayed at the top of the public sector food chain is mind boggling. The only thing these people understand is $$ - taking that away would be a step in the right direction.

I've never thought of the Dominican Republic as a hot spot for health and safety.

I wonder if his resignation has a golden parachute clause.

After three days in the DR, I'm sh*tting through the eye of a needle at 50 paces! (Covid not withstanding) I can only hope he was affected the same way!

I dont want him kicked off a volunteer committee, I want his 600K a year job revoked.

Agreed. But people will remember this stuff at election time.
i hope.
I’d like to hope you’re right. But that means the opposition has to put up strong candidates.

Doug will start throwing carrots come closer to election time. Tax breaks, rebates, money for support and all that good stuff that will make people (a lot of them) forget the guffaws.

He is/was CEO for more then just one hospital, these guys are diversified and very well connected ? they oversee the spending of billions of $
and yes they absolutely have the golden parachute thing dialled in, if they are booted out today you will see them back working the same system somewhere else soon enough.

Great job if you can get it, but sooner or later somebody is going to depose you and it won't likely be pretty.
Political elections, have almost nothing to do with the way the health care system is run day to day.
