Went to Wally World on the way home to pick up a prescription. Parking lot was 2/3 full. Walked right in. Some kid inside the entrance with what appeared to be a counter app on his cell phone. No any symptoms questions, just a nod and a smile. Pharmacy was a dead zone. I was the only person in the store in that section. Worked for me, I was in and out, but still.

Watch the crowds in there in the next few days, in anticipation of Ford announcing tighter lockdowns. Better get that video game while you can

So you going to creep all my posts again because you lost in another thread lol

Hi, welcome to the internet and the wonderful world of message forums.

Are you new here? Because you talk like you're new here.

Video game? I was in Walmart a few days ago (Admittedly also for something non essential, as to not be a hypocrite, but something that my daughter needed to keep her mask-making hobby/business in gear but was sold out on Amazon, so I felt a shard of justification) and there were people in there literally just browsing for ***** and giggles. Like, mindlessly pushing their cart down the housewares section just staring at the appliances and such, stopping to text and surf, then continuing on.

Electronics was doing brisk business. Seemed like all areas of the store were doing brisk business actually.

A friend works at a Dollarama store and says this is status quo right now....people just shopping out of boredom and browsing the store for 30-45 minutes for nothing other than killing time.

Stupidity.

My wife's grandmother in (in a nursing home, won't post which one) just posted on Facebook that she tested positive today.

My wife is on the phone with her right now. Seems to be in good spirits and has zero symptoms aside from her usual cough which she's had for years. They are testing her again in the morning to check for a possible false positive, but hard to say if that's the case as there is a known outbreak in another area of the home right now in the staff.

On the bright side she did have her first dosage of the vaccine a few weeks back and reportedly that can help reduce the severity if you do contract afterwards.

Interesting. I havent heard of many cases of positive tests after vaccination. Sending our wishes.
